Cute....but awful
This is not soft in the least bit. My jute kitchen rug is 100% softer. Would not recommend.
BEAUTIFUL
The design of this throw is even more gorgeous in person. However, it isn't nearly as soft or cozy as I had anticipated based on the pics and description. It feels a bit stiff compared to another chenille blanket I have. I purchased only for decorative purposes in a guest bedroom, so overall I'm really happy with this purchase, but I can't recommend if you're looking for a comfortable blanket to snuggle up in. Also, I almost made the mistake of washing upon arrival before reading the care instructions which say to spot clean only. So definitely not practical if you have pets or children, or want for a high-use area of the house.
