Cover plate for a push button

All I needed was a simple garage door opener button and didn't want to spend $200 so I purchased this plate along with "Wired Lighted Door Bell Push Button Insert, Nickel" and for less than $10 total investment I have a very nice illuminated garage door button! This cover plate was important because there was quite a hole behind the original that I needed to hide. Worked out perfectly!

Total complete garbage

The plastic is very brittle. The product shatters when you attempt to put a hole in it. Waste of money and time. 1 star is being very generous.

Picture is not the same as the product

I bought this thinking there was a hole in it and it is closed over. It is not easy to "punch out" as the Company suggests. No suggestions how to much it out. It is not serrated for easy release but solid plastic.

Picture is wrong

I ordered these online thinking I would get the item in the picture - although the part number is correct, there is no hole in these plates. Now I need to return all of them.
