One of the most beautiful store bought patterns I've ever seen. My sister and I were each blessed with a hand made one sewn by my great grandmother, made with scraps of old clothing from our ancestors! If only I would have REALLY paid attention to the stories handed down explaining the history of each of the treasured scrap of cloths!!! Oh! The ignorance of youth!

This is a lightweight COVERLET, not a quilt.

I purchased this and do like it. The colors look even better in person. It's great summer, but his is NOT a warm quilt, this is a lightweight coverlet, and there is a difference. During April I needed to have flannel sheets on with it to stay warm enough. I live in the Midwest and Grow Zone 5B, so it's not really that cold then, that is how lightweight it is. Excellent for summer, way too light for winter.
