Does a Great job.
I bought this to replace the original spin mop. The bucket is a decent size but the green color makes it hard to see how dirty the water is getting. The pour spout is a hole just under the rim vs being part of the rim, it does spill a little when pouring out the bucket. The spin feature works perfectly. The mop heads are very full and fluffy. Almost too fluffy when first using it. The one thing that wouod make me consider not buying it again is when the mop is extended. The extended part is a little thin, almost flimsy. When Im trying to scrub some spots harder it is hard because that part of the mop isn't supportive. If Im just going over floors without needing lots of pressure it is just fine. I would most likely buy this again. The things I noted aren't really deterrents just things I noticed that weren't my favorite so I thought Id share in case they matter to others. The good bucket size, the great spinner you activate with the mop, and the quality of the product itself is great.
It is better than a trad mop
I went back and forth between getting this one and the O Cedar mop. After having this for a couple months and using it around 6-7 times I can say...I wish I got the O Cedar one or that I kept the box so I could exchange this! Good: it's a lot better than the traditional types of mops. I love the spin mechanism and have had no problems with it whatsoever. keep in mind this mop is not for really dirty situations. It wouldn't make it far in that type of scenario - more for upkeep and light dirtiness. In other words. you can't do serious scrubbing with this thing. The handle is pretty thin and I do hope it lasts! I am gentle on it in hopes that it has longevity. Okay: I use a separate bucket for clean water and then spin into this one so that I get clean water every time. I know the O Cedar version of this has a separate section in the same bucket so you don't need a separate one. That would have been a nice feature. Bad: I don't like the head. It is quite a large circle, so you can't get into the corners with it. That means you have to go back with a separate cleaning utensil or a rag and clean the corners of the floor. What a poor design! It also flops around a lot at the "hinges" and doesn't lock so if you don't hold it just right, the plastic scrapes the floor due to the head not lying flat. Also, because of this, it's hard to get detailed because you have to hold it JUST SO, or else the head spins/leans/flops around and it doesn't scoot along the floor smoothly. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of keeping the floppy head flat against the floor. If it was more stiff or locked in place, you could use this mop to clean walls, floorboards, or hard to reach places. Wish I could return it ☹️
Great mop and bucket, no more getting your hands in mop water!
The Libman Microfiber Wet Tornado Spin Mop and Bucket Floor Cleaning System is the best mop and bucket combo I have used. The mop handle has 2 features that I love. First when unlocked it privides the spinning action in the bucket spinner to spin the mop head as wer or dry as you need it to be by spinning shorter or longer. Second feature of the mop handle is it can adjust roughly 13" taller, or leave compact for storage. It can be as short as 41" to 54" from mop head on the floor, to the top of the handle. It is convenient t to be able to adjust it to suit your body heigh or your room available. The microfiber head is machine washable which is very handy. The mop head is all 1 material, there is not a section of it made for heavy duty scrubbing, but the mop head works great for daily/weekly maintenance mopping. The bucket has a built in spinner to get excess water off the mop head(no touching icky mop water with your hands) The bucket also features a good carry handle and a pour spout to empty the bucket in a controlled manner. If you need a new mop and bucket, I highly recommend the Libman Tornado Spin Mop and Bucket Floor Cleaning System.
Libman Tornado Spin Mop System
Libman Tornado Spin Mop System makes mopping your floor easy and mess free. The oblong bucket has a spin chamber that will ring out your mop head so you don't have to do it by hand. The washable mop head is a larger size than the average mop so it cleans a bigger surface area. It is very easy to remove and replace the mop head to the pole when you want to wash it in between uses in the washer or by hand. The pole has an extension pole that is as simple as one snap to increase or decrease the length. When rinsing/ringing out the mop, extend the pole to longest and unlock . This allows the mop head to spin as you push the mop down into the spin chamber. The more you spin it the dryer the mop gets. Also, the mop has a swivel head so it makes it very easy to get into tight places.
