Bad, bad Quality !!!

This is worst Resin product , ive encountered . The" edges " are thin and will fail, rendering it unuseable. They continue to put this out,,,, knowing it fails ! Thats Sad a Company can take so many Customers for granted like that.

We love it. It’s roomy and seats comfortably. No more splinters from a wooden Picnic table!! Easy to assemble. Delivered on time!

Colour concern resolved itself?

Really like all aspects of this picnic table. I was able to put it together myself. It is heavy enough to feel stable and not to be a weather safety concern. It is light enough that I can easily move it to cut the grass. Seems to be well constructed. The only initial concern was the colour. We really wanted something with a brown/beige tone to match our house. Out of the box, this looked very grey. But after a day or so, the colour “magically” turned to the brown/beige we wanted. Exposure to the elements (sun, oxygen,)? I’m not crazy, my wife saw the same thing. We really like it now.

Very good value for price.

Nice piece for a small condo shared space. Can be folded up for winter. Assembly is pretty straightforward, although putting on benches was a bit more fiddle than expected. I would have helped to have two people. Once assembled, it’s a nice piece. There is a bit of give along the long dimension, due the slip in the folding joints. There is none along the short dimension

Took a little bit to put together, big problem was it wasn't very sturdy. Supposedly can hold up to 8 people, Family of 5 sat at it and the drinks almost went flying every time someone sat down it was so wobbly. It held everyone just fine, just extremely wobbly so not the best with kids. Took it back and I'll buy the commercial lifetime "W" frame that we had for 10 years and was awesome. Recommend spending the extra money for that one.

The picnic table arrived quickly and without damage. Some assembly is required, but it wasn't very complicated. You have to add the lower leg portion and the seats, but the directions were easy to follow. The table is looks really nice and seems very durable.

Not worth money, very poor quality

The more I buy of lifetime items now, the worst the quality is. The table top has a defect in the molding on the one side down towards the corner looks horrible. The bench seats are not straight they angle higher to lower you can see the slant looking at the table on both sides. The plastic holes are hard to line up once you take the piece off table top and one piece off each bench in order to build the thing. They don’t go easy back in same holes. Some holes the plastic is stripped and the screw head just keep going around and around never tightening. The others the screw goes in at an angle. Definitely not worth anywhere near what I paid for it!

I'm so happy I bought this table! We've only had it assembled about 3 weeks but it's been great. It took about 30-45 minutes for me (5 foot tall female) and my 11 year old son to put together. When it gets dirty it's very easy to spray off with a hose or wipe down with disinfectant and paper towels. I recently had a small gathering and 6 adults were table to sit and eat dinner at it comfortably. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it!

It wobbles because the legs are designed to fold. But otherwise it's very solid. I"m thinking about sealing the legs permanently to try and stop the wobble. As is, I think this is better as an extra table you bring out for big backyard parties rather than your primary outdoor eating table. But considering the low price it will be fine for just having a nice place to sit, eat, and work outside from home.

Excellent purchase

I love my picnic table! It's strong and durable. I got it in brown. It looks like faux wood. Looks great. Great for kids to do crafts or coloring outside. We've been enjoying eating outside. It's giving us more options and reasons for spending more time outside. These cold months it's been sitting out and holding up great. It should last for years to come. Highly recommend.

I ordered 2

I'm only giving this a 4 because I ordered 2. Both shipped and arrived at the same time via FedEx. The delivery man marked them as possible damage and let me know that if something's wrong it should be an easy return. I open and assemble one. All good until I flip it over. There was a dent on one end that I really didn't mind but towards the middle it was definitely broken just not all the way through. I didn't notice it until I flipped it over.

We picked up this table unassembled at our local Home Depot. Then came assembly... The directions are missing a couple of steps but they were pretty intuitive. Most of the many screw holes were mis-aligned so it took some muscle and ingenuity to get lined up. What should have been a 30-min job took two of us more than 90. The small picture in the directions of "tools needed" appears to be a single Phillips screwdriver. In our case that grew to a socket wrench (metric), flashlight, pry bar, c-clamp, nail and rubber mallet. Never did use a screwdriver. We would advise any buyer to pay Home Depot to assemble this table at the store.

Nice!

Though not quite as sturdy, nor as hefty, as we expected, this table is pretty awesome. It made its debut at a family reunion, and a few of the family were not exactly light weights! HA!

This is a good table if you are looking for something easier to handle and maintain than a wood table. This is our second one and we paid a little extra for the darker wood grain. The first one was the grey color and it showed discoloration after many years of use. It was still in good shape operationally and we gave it away to family when we upgraded. These tables are easy to move around the yard and to put away in the winter. The only downside is the screws attach to plastic during assembly. Over time the table does become more unstable but its not a deal breaker. I figure this helps keep the cost down. Buy it with proper expectation that it's not a solid wood table and you will love it. As others have reported the shipping is terrible. I had it shipped to the store and the box was completely destroyed but the parts were OK. I loaded them up one piece at a time to get it home. Wasn't going to wait for another to be delivered the same way.

It's ok

A lot of the reviews mentioned the box arriving damaged and the table being dented. I found this to be true as well. Despite the table being packaged in styrofoam and in a thin cardboard box, the table did have a dent in the top. It took my husband some time to put it together because the directions said to use the screws in the bag. He could not find the bag and thought it was accidentally thrown away with the packaging so he and the kids had to search through the trash. Come to find out there was no package of screws but they were already threaded in the table and he just needed a screw driver. Not sure what that was about. Despite those hiccups, the table looks great and is sturdy and serves its purpose.

Well engineered

I was impressed with the design. Simple to assemble due to the design. I ordered two tables. They arrived on different days. The packing was destroyed in both cases. In one table some small parts (hangers) were missing. Obviously they had fallen out of the carton. The manufacturer would do well the revisit the sturdiness of the carton, especially the ends of the carton. Heavier end stops so the table does not tear through. The table is heavy and the handlers rather drop than lay down the carton which causes the table to burst out the end of the carton. More padding or reenforced cardboard might prevent the bust out. This was one of the many complaints I read in the reviews - broken carton/ damaged parts.

Read many reviews about the item before purchasing and had reviews of home delivery damage. Selected to have it shipped to store to ensure it would not show up damaged. Picked it up today and box showed no signs of damage, constructed it tonite. Upon construction noted it was damaged on one corner of the top and the middle of the top was bubbled. Very disappointing. Ease of assembly and looks great just wish it was not damaged. I would suggest if you are to buy this product open it at the store and ensure it is not damaged as after spending the time to put it together it is not worth taking it back to get another damaged unit. Love it but hate the fact the top is broke. Great product if you can get it in one piece.

I really like that this product is composite for the "wood" pieces so I don't worry about it rotting. Time will tell how well it withstands the UV, and how the metal legs hold up. My one beef is that it is VERY heavy. I'm a pretty strong guy so I can manage it, but nobody else in the family can. The weight alone wouldn't be such a huge deal, but the term "folding" is a little misleading. Basically, the legs fold, but the entire package still completely fills the bed of a pickup - you definitely aren't putting this in the family SUV for weekend outings.

Replacing old Lifetime table

I am replacing a Lifetime table that left in a tornado. I will have to say, like everything else these days, the older ones were made better. My old one did not have the hole for the umbrella and since we use it on a covered patio, I did not want the hole in it. I guess you can't buy them without it now. So, I have to deal with the cap in the middle. I ordered the brown color and wanted a chocolate brown. I would describe the table as dark army green. Not really brown. It arrived with a slight dent in the side of the table. I'm hoping with some sunlight and heat, this will flatten out. One nice touch on the newer table is the rubber type feet on the bottom. I think this will keep the paint from scratching off and it rusting. These are good tables and handy if you want to collapse and store them. I would consider buying one in a store since shipping seems to be rough on them.

Great table, great price

This is the second Lifetime picnic table I have purchased. The other is still holding up well, after 13 years being outside. I recently added a new patio, and when I saw this on sale for less than $200, I knew it would be a good purchase. Nothing could be simpler to assemble. The instructions recommend two people for assembly, but I put this together in 15 minutes by myself. It's nothing more than opening the cardboard box (77.5"L x 30.5"W x 4.5"H dimensions), setting out the pieces, and following the instructions with a phillips screwdriver in hand, and then flipping the table over. As far as the color described, I would say it is green. (take a look at the attached photos) The first table that arrived at HomeDepot was damaged, but customer service left me a phone message and quickly ordered another one. The replacement table is perfect: no imperfections, nicks, scratches, etc. Very happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend this table.
