I love this table!
Heavy duty and it folds for storage. Shipping container was not adequate though. It needs more Styrofoam and had a small hole along the side of the top. Home Depot worked with me; very professional and accommodating. I am using a plastic elastic table cover on the top and benches to prolong the life of the table.
Pretty easy to assemble with two people. One could do it, but the extra set of hands is nice. It took us about 15 minutes from opening the box to sitting at the table.
The table is great
10 plus years and just replacing it
This is our second Lifetime table. The first is at least 10 years old. It developed a hole and the sides cracked. There’s a bit of rust on in the feet. Otherwise it’s sturdy. I’m transitioning it to garden duty and will try to patch the hole and duct tape the splits along the sides.
The product is a sturdy product, but the table top was damaged due to not packing correctly and Styrofoam just thrown in to the box instead of putting around edges. The box was not taped well enough to hold it together. The box was not sturdy enough to hand together. Home Depot Customer service worked with me and was excellent in helping me with my problem. Very satisfied with Home Depot Customer service.
Great Picnic Table
This is a very nice picnic table. I highly recommend this Lifetime Picnic Table if you want a picnic table that’s very durable and looks great. I was skeptical about the color of Hunter Green but couldn’t pass because it was an amazing price. I actually love the color!!!! It is so dark that it almost looks black. I am very happy with this purchase.
Starting with delivery... the apparently once well sealed box was opened at both ends but no product damage was found. The driver left two ruts in my driveway pulling out too fast. But, the worse thing is that the table is wobbly. I have an identical one from the same company that I bought years ago that is still awesome, but they changed tolerances and went cheap on materials (thinner) which resulted in a wobbly and likely unsafe table. I would like to return it if possible.
Good price but wobbly
I have purchased the lifetime picnic table because I have one that is over 25 years old and it is nice and strong and sturdy. However, the one that I have purchased is not as strong as the one I have for the last 20 something years. It is very wobbly we had to make some adjustments to the seats and also the table. The price was great. You will not find one cheaper of that brand.
Slightly critical of table's use by older people.
About twice as heavy as expected. Advertising showed 2 older people folding the table, but my wife and I (in our 60s) struggled to move the table even with a flat-bed cart. Definitely should have shown younger people folding the table up while on its side. It is sturdy though, and can seat 6 people comfortably.
I might get another one for the front yard !
I actually got the black version - just arrived and it's snowing out, so I took it out of box and was pleased to see that it stores nicely, there are four support pieces and the two benches, plus table top. No small pieces or bits of hardware. It will store easily in a 7' x 4' x 6" space, like against a wall lengthwise or vertically. I will set it up outside and use it for picnic, garden, craft, maybe even storage underneath. I searched elsewhere and I think this is a bargain for home use. We have some upcoming outdoor construction and I think the workers will appreciate having a "break" table, it looks sturdy enough for several adults.
Practical and Convenient
It arrived in record time. The cardboard packaging was quite torn up. However, nothing on the inside was damaged! The printed directions are adequate, but the youtube video was much more informative and easier to follow. This replaced my other Lifetime picnic that I had for 8 years, that unfortunately the plastic top was breaking apart and disintegrating. That I believe was due to the fact it was left outdoors year round, even though it was covered with a plastic tarp when not being used. With this one I plan on storing it in the garage when not being used. This is a very solid and practical and convenient picnic table.
One very durable Picnic Table!
This is one Extremely Durable Picnic Table. I bought our first one of these used several years ago. It has held up very well. We have a large family; and it gets it's fair share of use. It is easy to clean as well. I'd recommend some Wizards Tire and Vinyl Shine occasionally to keep it in even better shape; (It helps keep plastics and rubber of most kinds in better condition and restores them too) although it has lasted very well without it. The weather does not seem to bother it even though it sits outside in the sweltering heat of summer; the frigid cold winter; and everything in between. We had a storm come through here; and a tree fell on it. Yes - it caved in one bench and the top. I disassembled it on a hot summer's day and pounded the metal pieces fairly straight with a big hammer; and put it back together. It turned out to be almost as good as new. I gave it to the in - laws who's wooden picnic table rotted out; and I bought us a new one. It does assemble and disassemble quite easily and folds up easily too! This has outlasted a few wooden picnic tables we've had with no warping or splinters either! Sorry; I didn't think to take any photos. I wasn't certain I'd be able to fix it after the tree fell on it.

Hey All, don't do a lot of reviews, but this is a great table, heavy duty, my Ultimate compliment. All components/hardware there. The instructions suggest a 2 person assembly, but I did it all by me-self, did I. I read the instructions (this was my first pre-fab picnic table), then it took about an hour. All the holes are pre-drilled and lined up perfectly. Used an electric drill with a screwdriver bit for speed. So, two persons with those tools would be less than an hour and More Fun...uh...duh? Powder coated metal tubing is heavy duty and solid; benches and table top are thick plastic, I say again, Thick. That it collapses flat for storage is nice for winter storage if you're in that kinda climate (like I am); stores upright in the garage or hang it on that wall. Weighs about 100 pounds, so mind your back. I'm 66 and had no prob. Purchased it on-line, HD texted me when it was ready for pick up. Can be shipped to your address, too (for a fee). Price, quality, assembly, everything's So Easy, what's not to like?

This is a substantially made table. The tubular steel is not small in diameter and the rails that support the benches are heavy duty. This table should hold up to a lot of usage. The PVC plastic seating and table top are thick and well molded. The green color is not gaudy and blends well in a yard backdrop. Assembly was simple. It does fold up easily for storage. The table was assembled with a Philips screwdriver rather than a torqued down drill. Being a plastic molded item, I was afraid that over tightening would result in loosened screw holes. It may have taken me a little longer to put it together by hand but the screws all fit tight. I am quite pleased with the table quality and the reasonable price I paid. It was a good value.

Although the product was easy to assemble, the screws used to fasten the seats to the frame need to be hand tightened. The screw holes are in the plastic and using an electric screwdriver could cause you to strip the holes very easily. I am hopeful that the table lasts, since there is a slight side to side movement allowed due to the ability to fold the table for storage. I do not know what the movement is/will do to the screw holes. At this point, I have not owned them long enough to make any determination. Folding the table with one person requires you to flip the table completely over to fold it up. The covers used to "hide" the umbrella hole are slightly recessed an will collect a small amount of water if left outside.

As in other rewiews prior to pick up I expected to see the box in bad shape and was not disapointed. The box was destroyed to the point that it could no longer contain the pinic table and parts. The store employee assured me that he had inspected the table and there was no damage to the table and all the parts were with the table. Upon arrival at home my wife and I removed the table from the box and found no damage to any parts. UNBELIEVABLE. To the credit of the people that packed the table at the factory everything was packed very well preventing damage to legs, seats and table top. Assembly was easy most parts were preassembled at the factory. The table looks great and works well. The quality of the table is above average I would recommend it to a friend. If you can get over the shock of the box condition it's a great picnic table.

I purchased this product to place on the deck outside my office as a replacement for some outdated tables. I chose this product because it can be folded up for storage during winter months and appeared to be weather resistant. The table sustained minor damage in shipping. The carton was shredded upon arrival and one of the benches was scuffed. Fortunately, none of the parts was lost during shipping even though sections of the tubular framework were protruding through the holes in the shipping box. I saved the box in the event I needed to make a claim with the shipper. The table was fairly easy to assemble - having 2 assemblers is helpful. It looks good and appears sturdy. Although not visible in the photograph, the table has a hole in the center for an umbrella if desired. This table is reasonably priced, substantially built - the manufacturer could step up their game with sturdier packaging.
