Great memory maker for family!

Bought for the family for Easter - it was easy to put together and has provided so much fun and great memories! It’s made very well. I used sand in the base and we live in a very windy area - it has never moved or swayed.

Great so far

The basketball goal is great so far. Be careful when moving, it is best to have two people.

Solid Hoop

We’ve been very happy with our purchase. All the components are well made and the final goal is sturdy and easy to use. Easy to transport and adjust height. As other reviews mention it does take a while to assemble but easy overall. Online videos actually really helpful to follow.

would not recommend

Bolts continue falling off. The poles keep coming seperated while it is standing up and has bent the bracket to adjust the height.

Poor quality. The rim is bent already only lasted two months.

The product is overall very good, but we noticed immediately after assembly that the backboard is very wobbly. We aren’t sure if this is an assembly or product issue yet.

Good quality for the price

We’ve had this for a few weeks and so far it’s a great hoop. The assembly was long and the rim is a little looser than my husband would like so that’s why it’s only a 4 star review. So far it has held up to my 3 kids playing on it, and the height is easy to adjust. Good quality for the price!

Very nice hoop.

The assembly was no joke. It took us 2.5 hours of solid work with two adults. There are some parts of the assembly were you really must have two people. My husband had to use his pocket knife a few times to scrape some of the paint and metal off so that he could get the rods through the holes. Also I’m not sure if ours was just missing predrilled holes but at the end you must drill screws into the metal backboard and it was challenging. But once done our son loves it. Seems sturdy. We like that the height adjusts.

Incomplete parts

I spent almost 4 hours over 2 days assembling the hoop - I got to the 2nd to last step and realized that the big spring for adjusting the hoop height didn't have 2 hooks on each end. Hardware store couldn't help me. Haven't heard from Lifetime; Walmart says the only option is to disassemble and repackage everything for a refund. I spoke to a Walmart supervisor who said a freight company would help me repackage it. Fedex came and said they cannot help. So I'm out $250 and have to dispose of a metal pile because the seller (Walmart) and manufacturer (Lifetime) can't handle replacing a individual part.

Backboard isn’t straight

I followed the instructions and put the basketball hoop together with my son. turns out the backboard is tilted forward as seen in the picture.

I love how strong this basketball goal is. It stays up pretty well.
