I have had this unit for about three weeks and have used the Gas and Pellet options and so far it’s been great! Arrived at our local Homedepot faster than expected! The box was very large and the store personnel had to load with a fork lift. Estimated weight was 280lbs. Assembly was easy with two people.

Don't waste your money.

I absolutely regret purchasing this grill. I was intrigued by the idea of combining gas and wood pellet into one unit. The gas grill does perform just fine, which is why this even got two stars. Where to begin? First off, the Bluetooth connectivity is sketchy at best. My phone app will allow me to see the temperature, but I cannot make any changes from it. The physical menu at the unit is problematic at best. It's very confusing on how to actually operate it. If you use the gas to burn off your grill first, don't you would think about using the wood pellet function anytime soon. It has to completely cool off to ambient temperature before it will allow the pellets to be fired up. Cleaning out at the ashes and fire cup is also a pain in the butt because you have to take it apart in the back. Also, pay the extra to get it assembled because assembling it yourself at home is a complete pain in the rear, even if you are handy with tools. It took me about 5 hours to put this thing together. Also, I realized after this purchase that I hate these midsize grills. I like the big ones where I can cook two or three different things in two or three different zones. Not buying one of these again ever. Just to add something positive to the review, the gals at my local lifetime store were awesome and friendly and helpful.

Easy operation.

I bought this over a year ago and have loved it. I was skeptical at first about it being a combination unit but I’m buying a second one for my cabin.

Absolute garbage!!!

Came damaged, ok I can manage. App is terrible but it’s ok. Burners can’t handle 10 mph winds with is ridiculous. Induction coil went bad after a few smokes (all under 4 hours). This grill is beyond terrible and these people giving 5 stars either were paid for it or never had a grill that works. Absolutely terrible grill!!!

Maintain Temperature

After using the smoker several times temperature will not stay constant. They sent a new temperature probe and I replaced it. I wrote costumer service and finally got a reply. After answering all the questions and sent back by email never got a reply for a fix. Would not recommend this grill because of customer service.

Great combo grill. Enjoying it a lot. For quick burgers, or if you want to fix a big pork roast and smoke it for hours. Does double work. I advise adding a smoking tube when smoking thicker meats. They're inexpensive and get that intense smoke tast.

Great Grill

Love the connectivity and the smoking features. Use it all the time on brisket. Very easy to clean as well with the pull out panel in the rear. Recommend this!

[Rewarded Review] Lifetimne Smoker/Grill Combo

My wife and I had a grill, a smoker, and a griddle outside. We decided we wanted to see if we could consolidate and I started my research looking for a grill/smoker combo. I came across this lifetime one and was thrilled!! I bought it after doing some research and I am very glad I did. We have already smoked salmon, tri-tip, and ribs are next. It also makes it easy to just grill without having to heat up a smoker. Everything has cooked extremely well. It even has a slide out catcher pan so that you can clean it easily. I did have a damaged base when I opened the box. I hit up customer service and they were quick to get me a new one. Overall, amazing purchase. I would recommend buying their grill cover and grilling pads too.

Love the Smoker and Grill better than Traeger!

We had a Traeger smoker but decided to try the Lifetime smoker and grill when it came out. We kept and tried both units for a while but liked the Lifetime unit better so we sold the Traeger. We have cooked ribs, tri tip, brisket, chicken, burgers, and kabobs. The app and smoker are easy to use and set while doing other things.

[Rewarded Review] I’m Sold. Great Combo Grill!

I had a Weber gas grill for years and I loved it. Replaced all the I rentals twice. The base finally rusted out. I also had a Traeger Roadtrip pellet smoker that I would use at home and the hunting camp. Also have a Blackstone. Three outdoor cooking grills on the deck was a lot. When the Weber was done I decided to research combo gas/pellet grills. Came across the Lifetime. Was skeptical because it got some good and bad reviews. My little Traeger had temp swings of over 50 degrees during a smoke (I’m sure the full sized Traeger are more consistent). I thought what the heck. Give the Lifetime a shot and free up some deck space. Everybody is correct. It is a pain in the rear to assemble, but went together without a hitch. I’ve had it about 4 months. Grill chicken at least once a week. Steaks or burgers once a week. And smoke meat every couple weeks. MODIFICATIONS: Added a temp gauge to the hood. Calibrated the gauge before install. When I smoke the pellet grill is MONEY! On every smoke it has come to temp and stayed almost exactly at the desired temp. Within a degree or two. Have never had a massive swing in temp. I also swapped the grill grates for some cast iron grill grates I found on Amazon that are within a 1/4” of actual size. The gas grill is as good as the Weber. I love this combo grill! I just did a brisket. Smoked through the night without a problem. Anybody looking for a great combo grill has landed at the right place. I tried adding a photo of the mods and a video of the consistent temp, but where you are supposed to click did nothing. Sorry.

The best of both worlds

This is the best gas grill on the market! More importantly, it's the pellet grill I've ever owned. I waited a while before reviewing this grill because I wanted to use it first. I was not disappointed. There was a leaning curve. But once I got familiar with how to use it, it has not disappointed. The only thing I would have done differently was that I regret not having it built.

Awful Smoker

Definitely the worst smoker I’ve owned. Half the time the power button doesn’t work and it’s brand new. Grill has been good. I don’t recommend to get if you’re wanting to use the smoker much. And the app is just as bad. Unfortunately this grill misses the mark big time.

Good smoker/grill...minor flaws!

I've had this combo grill/smoker for about a month and I love it! Sturdy construction, grill puts off good heat, and I've had nothing but success with the smoker. However, there are a few flaws. Lifetime opted for some cheaper screws in construction of the lid and they tend to start rusting quickly. There needs to be a view window in the lid and thermometer for gilling also. A 6 burner model with larger cooking surface and front collapsible shelf would be amazing! Overall, I'm happy with the product.
