Easy replacement of my current can lights. The features offered for all of the color options are amazing! The mobile app is really good and easy to use.

The LIFX recessed lights look great and perform well. They are a quality product. I do wish they had a hub though like Lutron offers but Lutron doesn’t do colors. We’ve bought LIFX so far and a really good product. They app works great and all the colors that you want are there.

Not installed yet. But as a customer of thier products, I am expecting big things from these. 28 can lights in my new house. Will be done by end of April 2024.

They would NOT connect to my network work like the rest of their lights that I have purchased The big problem is they have no number to troubleshoot only chat and email which is incredibly slow at getting a response from them Easier to return lights which I did

Lifx is a poor company all around

First, these take forever to connect and set up. Secondly, in my experience about 10% will fail early. And lastly, if you need to contact customer service, they are rude, expect you to perform science experiments on your lights without any guidance, and are in general not one bit helpful. Do yourself a favor and get Phillips lights instead. Everything about those are better.

LIFX Delivers a Smarter Light Solution!

The LIFX Smarter Light is a great downlight option that gives you a color palette that is unmatched. First, all you need is Wi-Fi to operate this light, which really allows for a lot of flexibility. Second, there is an e26 adapter that is provided which makes installation a breeze. You can use Alexa, Google, Apple or anything smart to set a schedule along with a specific color to match the mood!

It’s a winner

This LIFX retrofit downlight solved a longstanding lighting problem in our home. I tried at least a half dozen different smart lights in an outside cove area. In fairness, it’s probably a problem with our WiFi configuration and not the actual lights we tried. In any case, the LIFX is working perfectly without modifying my WiFi and as a bonus, we were already using some other LIFX bulbs in that area. I did the pairing in a separate fixture that has excellent WiFi and then moved the unit to the outside fixture. The physical installation was easy and the light immediately worked without any issues. We are running our LIFX bulbs in Apple home. I’ve never tried their LIFX app, so I can’t comment on it. This light is primarily controlled by a switch and then we can fine tune brightness, color temperature or RGB colors as we desire. That’s probably different from how most will use it, but it’s exactly how we wanted it.

Not plug and play

Unlike other products this was a little harder to install. When I down loaded the LIFX app to my phone, it wanted to have me create an account. When I deleted the app from my phone and just scanned the QR code the installation was straight forward and was simple.It was easy to operate from my phone and besides turning on and off the light, I could change the color and the intensity. Th installation is more difficult when used to replace an existing fixture because this isn't hardwired, but requires a light socket to be plugged into.

Easy, Fun and Versatile Update for old recessed can light fixtures

This retrofit style fixture is pretty cool. It can help you to change out an old recessed can type light fixture into something way more modern and versatile. It installs very easily. It has a screw in power pigtail that will screw into any standard medium Edison type light socket. The other end plugs into the LED light. The spring arms clip into the pre-existing can housing and hold the light in position. Actual installation should take less than two minutes. I downloaded the control app to my phone and the app found the light fixture as soon as I powered up the light. It was easy to control the color and intensity from my phone. I recommend this fixture for anyone who wants to update and old recessed can fixture into something more fun and useful.

Great lighting effects

Its still amazing to me what you can do with just a simple lighting fixture and this one is really cool with all the different colors and schemes you can program into the LIFX app that you install on your phone to control and program it with .You can even use Alexa to control it just by speaking and set a particular mood you are feeling or seasonal color schemes . Its a lot of fun .I installed my fixture in a corner entertainment center to shine up instead of in the ceiling down to create a different effect .

Attractive Smart LED Light with Selectable Color

I've used many similar flat LED fixtures in new construction and renovations. I like them because they are simple, flush mount, energy efficient (meet CA Title 24 requirements).

The LIFX 5/6 in. 65-Watt Equivalent Multi-Color Smart Alexa/Hey Google Home Kit light makes it east to turn on one of my recessed lights without turning them all on. The light is bright enough to illuminate the area to check things out and determine if all the lights have to be on which is a great energy saver. Being hooked to Google or Alexa makes it nice because you can use voice commands as you enter the area.

Great Features for WiFi LED Lights

While these lights seem expensive the added flexibility of WiFi lighting is worth it. I have 10 lights in my basement entertainment room, 6 on one switch and 4 on another. The LIFX application allows me to turn them all on or any individual one or group of lights on. I can change the color or each individual light or any group of them.

Fantastic Color Can Light!

This is a Feit Electric brand and it’s dependable and easy to set up out of the box. This is the first light I have that uses LIFX software app found in the app store. Once you get this light configured and connected to your account that you will need to create, you can then link that account to SmartThings and control the light from there. There is a full spectrum of color and tones of white light that you can select from. The profile on the light is short which is just what I needed as my old light was too large and set below the ceiling line by a good ¼” but these sits flush. From unbox to install and app set up took about 15 minutes. You won’t be disappointed with the amount of control you will have with LIFX app. I would highly recommend this as a great smart can light option.

Clean modern look and awesome color range

These are retrofit lights so I installed them into my old can lights and they looks sweet. Very modern looking. And at night, the colors are crazy bright.
