This item is severely damaged. When I opened the wrapping & unfolded the rug, it had major tears at the fold lines. It doesn't look like it can be repaired. Our home was under construction for 7 months & when it came time to put the new rugs down, this one is severely damaged.

Great Look, Great Value

We got the Ivory 8x10 and really like it. As others mention, it does look either darker or lighter when viewed from different sides, so we had it in place and then turned around 180 degrees. It's a perfect weight and look for us, with nice plush feel and comfortable thickness. Ours measured 7'9" by 9'11" and furniture fits nicely. Ordering and shipping was a breeze. And so far, easy to clean up minor spills and easy to vacuum. We considered tons of rugs with a huge range of pricing where this rug was a great value on the lower end of prices.

How to get rid of smell??

I received my order, it’s good...but the rug has a strong smell. Not sure if it’s the dye or what. It has been on the floor for 2 days and the odors haven’t faded. It also has a streak down the middle which is white but doesn’t look like part of the design. It’s hard to describe but it looks almost like a run you would get in a knitted fabric. It’s noticeable but only when you view the rug from one end of the rug??? I’ve vacuumed it hoping it had to do with the folding or shipping but did not resolve the problem. It’s not an “in your face” thing but you can see it. Other than the SMELL and the “run” (for a lack of a better word), I like the rug and want to love it. Not sure if I’m going to keep or not. Any suggestions for getting rid of the smell would be helpful!
