Beautiful chair. Took a long time to find this one. The pictures are deceiving however, and the legs appear black in online pictures, but they are a "brushed black" which is actually a dark brown :(

Wonderful chairs

Very comfortable and well made. The wood color is basically black, felt darker than photos from the LuLu book.

Great looking but...

Overall like the chairs. Comfortable and great looking. Finding a few spots where the wood grain is rough and can actually snag

Too tall

The seat height of these chairs is 20.5”. The dimensions say 19” on the website. I am 5’7” and my feet do not sit flat on the floor. My 5’3” mother’s feet do not hit the floor. Otherwise, I like the chairs. I will probably cut an inch off each leg, but not looking forward to doing so.

LOVE this dinning chair!

I purchased two of these dinning chairs and am so happy that I did. They are comfortable and add a nice modern, yet simple, touch to my dinning space. So incredibly happy with them!

Sleek and Minimalistic

I love these chairs. I was baffled at the low rating from another consumer, so I decided to write one. If you are looking for a sleek, minimalistic chair with a timeless design, this is your chair. If you are looking for an overstuffed "comfy" chair, it's not for you. The things I was looking for were a dark (almost black) frame with a back and a linen colored seat. My seating area is tight and I love the minimalistic design which allows a view of my gorgeous cerused oak pedestal table. The linen cushion seems like a performance fabric, but I sprayed it with a stain guard just in case. I like the idea that if my color pallet changed in the future, I could easily reupholster the seat.

Pretty but not at all comfortable to sit on

The seat cushion looks like it would be comfortable but it is actually hard as a rock. Feels nothing like it looks, unfortunately. Too bad because it would have been perfect otherwise!
