Dont buy, impossible to put together

Impossible to put together the screws strip and don’t fit in the pre drilled holes. Tried manually screwing in (per instructions) and that’s impossible. Then tried with a power drill and impact drill. The nails stripped on all of the screws. We were never able to assemble the table or chairs. $150 wasted. Very disappointed. I bought this for my son’s 2nd birthday.

Just say no.

NOT worth the effort. Poor quality building materials. Screws stripped easily. Bad angles on chairs so a regular screwdriver was insufficient. The worst self-build furniture I’ve had the displeasure to encounter.

Nice table and chairs!

This little table and chairs is solid and of very good quality! My grandson loves it. So glad that this is the one I decided on even though it was a bit more money than others I looked at. Worth it.

DO NOT BUY. Terrible construction. As other reviewers have noted, the screws are not aligned so it is impossible to assemble securely. I have blisters on my hands from trying to screw them in tightly enough and stripped the screws in the process. I noted the problem and customer service sent me a new set which has the same problems. It’s unusable from this poor construction as the legs can’t be tightened enough.

Do not buy!!!

Could not assemble the table - the screw holes did not align. Really disappointing, we normally love Melissa and Doug but the quality of this item is awful. My toddler was very sad to not have a table from Santa.

Worst assembly ever.

Worst assembly ever. I’d rather assemble a thousand piece IKEA dresser before I try this again. Screws do not align whatsoever and I stripped multiple trying to put this together. Some would not go in all the way no matter what. Even went against the instructions and tried a power drill. Still can’t get the screws in. I do not recommend this product.

Not worth the hassle.

It’s cute, but save yourself the stress and anger! The screws do not go in all the way. The table and chairs are unbalanced. Some screws got stripped. For the price and brand I was expecting WAY higher quality.

Screw holes do not align!

Will be returning. It was literally impossible to screw the screws in all the way. Had three different people try multiple times. Very disappointed as it looked very cute and was excited to give this to my toddler for Christmas.

Screws do not fit easily and are cheap metal so wear down quickly. This is not complicated to put together but is taking forever to do just because screws aren’t going in fully despite several attempts. Considering returning because connections are not smooth due to this issue. Disappointed in MD in this!

Very cute and functional

My son loves this table set. He is 18 months old. He plays here and even I even let him eat his lunch here because it encourages independence and he eats more overall at his table than in his high chair. I had no difficulty putting it together the instructions were very clear.

Perfect for my grandsons ages 2 and 3!

Easy to assemble. Well made. My two grandsons love it for crafts or meals!

Great table and chairs for our grandson who is 18 months. Solidly built and not easy for him to tip over in when trying to sit on the chairs. A perfect table and chairs set!

Terrible quality

Absolutely a disaster to build. Screws to not line up and are hard to screw in with little to no room to use a screw driver. And if you push too hard the inserts inside of the legs comes off.

Well made and arrived in perfect condition. It was a little smaller than I expected but still is ideal for my grandchildren when they visit.

Awful. The legs won’t screw together without stripping the screws… the wood came scuffed and marked up. A shame for a well known brand

The table is taller than I expected but still a perfect size for my 4 year old. Nice quality and sturdy!
