I used this as an indoor lightning in our living room. I installed 5 units connected to 95w power supply. The lights works well especially when synced to a Samsung TV.

Very bright and perfect for highlighting bushes and trees! seamlessly changes color to match decor and fades between colors. Very pleased.

Power converter

Be warned you need a power breaker which is an extra 38 chf. So if you have one light on its own you need a separate power supply. Could not see those details in the description.

Amazing product I'm very much hooked!

Got this since I needed some lights for my BBQ corner in the patio. It was easy to install, just plug and play to the existing outdoor socket. You can easily get the extension cables everywhere ( I had to get a 5m extension) and they're all outdoor rated.

I already have a hue system in use in my garden, and this light was a great addition to the setup. Compared to hues smaller outdoor spotlight this one is larger, it produces stronger light and is perfect setup in the garden; giving great ambience in the evenings. The hue system (while a bit pricey) is incredibly powerful, you can set custom commands i.e. turn on the lights after sunset, and create custom commands through a smart speaker. I have never ran into an issue with setting up these devices and the companion app is incredibly intuitive. I will continue to be an avid fan of hues ecosystem!

Powerful, contemporary and smart

This product is easy to set up using the hue app and connects to other products in the range. It's bright, easily adjustable and contains stands for mounting in various situations. Overall the build quality is great and I wouldn't worry having this out in all our British weather

The system is great but it is NOT 12V like most. It is a 24V so you cannot mix these lights with other landscaping lights and you need their transformer. That is the only reason I give 4 rather than 5 stars.

[Rewarded Review] Horrible Product Info - State the Watts!

I am giving this product one star for two reasons. First, the product description neglects one major bit of info. The wattage of the light (15 W). Second, Philips should be ashamed to only include a 40 W power source with the kit. You need the 100 W should you want more than three lights on a line.

I ran this super far via several extension cables with a total of 9 Hue Calla + this 1x Lily XL (total of 10) lights connected via a 95w Hue Power pack.

Not as good as I was hoping. I bought the XL because I have it back from the house by about 15’ in a planter. The colors are great but the projection into the house isn’t as bright as I expected from the XL. I have one on the house and the other focused on a tree. The one on the tree looks great but the house front looks lackluster.

Beautiful light casting up my Japanese Maple tree in the center of my front yard flowerbed landscaping. I also experimented with programming and changing lighting scenes. Pricey Product... but I love the Hue Lily XL Outdoor Spot Light along with my Hue Outdoor Pedestal Lights.

Love these lights! Got 2 for front of two-story house with palm trees. Lights trees and front of house very well. Glad I got the bigger lights. Will probably get a few of the smaller ones to spread around yard. A little pricey but I’m very happy!

[Rewarded Review] Underpowered and Overpriced

Too dim in almost all colors except white. All of the Hue marketing photos are grossly misrepresented. I tried to light a 25’ tall tree, and even with 3 Lily XLs, it wasn’t even close to being able to reproduce 75% of the color wheel at even a minimal intensity. Hue is just not putting out a high-end product. The cords are also WAY too short for any practical installation. I’ve never seen a company at Hue’s price premium cut corners this deep—completely overpriced in terms of value.

Great addition to our light strip

We love our outdoor light so much. They've made a massive difference to our outside space both in terms of ambience and feeling of safety in the evenings. The lights and cables are really strong and sturdy, the set up was simple and the app to control the lights is super easy to use. Really impressed.

Impressive Looking Garden Light

This XL Smart light is a great addition to my garden lighting and looks really effective as a spotlight for my Magnolia tree. I already have other Philips Hue Garden lights and I've been impressed with the light this one emits as it is noticeably brighter. It's also sturdy, well made and looking at it I would imagine it will wear well outside.
