Love the look

I really liked the minimal profile. The lamp is well made and fairly priced. We bought it to place at the end of a sofa. We just had a hard time angling it to be in a position where it wasn't over us and the light bright in our eyes.

Ultra Simple

It does not look good a black lamp with a white electrical cord. I'm trying to figure out how to change the color or call the company to send me one that matches

Love the design, very poorly manufactured

I've had to bend the "right angle" to actually make it a right angle. And the part that attaches to the base is cut at a slight angle, such that the lamp does not stand straight. Very disappointing for such an elegant design.

Simple, modern, clean lines!

Bought it in brushed silver. The unobtrusive floor lamp is elegant and very modern. Sturdy and easily assembled. Situated in the middle of the room with no walls nearby, it gives plenty of light for reading beside lounge chair or sectional. Like it so much that I'm ordering another one!!

Simplicity

Just received two of these floor lamps. True that the wire is exposed. These are at the ends of sofas for reading so this isn't an issue for us. My husband love it because you can adjust the light right onto your reading material. I love them because they are so minimal and sleek.

I am so glad I ordered this lamp, because of its design, reading light, easy way of directing the light stream in the direction required. It is elegant and fits into any place. I will recommend it to anybody interested.

I had been looking for a white floor lamp to use over my couch for reading. I wanted it to be well designed and unobtrusive. The requirements were that it not take up a lot of visual space and not be too big in size or proportion to fit over the large off white couch and light beige carpet. While you notice the lamp and how beautiful it is, it does not intrude on physical or visual space. The fact that it is adjustable made it work.

Great Minimalist Lighting

I wanted two, unobtrusive floor lights for a modern living room. The LIM Task lamp is great. Like the LED light, 2 levels, and the adjustable height of the arms. Not as happy with the adjustment from side to side. Sometimes, in order to get the best light level, the entire lamp needs to be moved(i.e. to position the light over reading material), and then has to be moved back into position to line up with the sofas again when not in use. Should have thought more about how it would be used, but still is a great look.

Excellent value but photos misleading

Like other Pablo products the LIM provides excellent design and value for the money. BUT, BUYER BEWARE! The photos of the LIM floor lamp do not represent reality. I ordered the "Brushed Silver" finish and the photo would lead one to believe that the post, base and arm are of the same finish. The post and base sent with the "Brushed Silver" arm are powder coated a darker gray which contrasts with the arm. Disappointed with the finish, I called Pablo in SF and was told that all LIMs have the same power coated gray base and post regardless of the finish (black, silver, or white) of the arm. It was not clear if this has always been the case. It is otherwise a handsome minimalist design and much less costly than others I considered. However, if I had unpacked the lamp within the 15 day limit for returns I probably would have rejected the lamp. Unfortunately I was out of town and a month had passed before I saw the LIM. Less

Beautiful, Simple, Smart.

I appreciate when a functional object is distilled down to very basic, efficient elements. The LIM Floor Lamp is a great addition to the home of a minimalist, or anyone who loves smart design. The star missing in this review is a nod to presence of the light cord which runs exposed down the length of vertical stem of the lamp. I understand that for safety and flexibility why it would be exposed in this current design of the lamp, but maybe future editions could solve this very minor design flaw... Otherwise well worth the cost.

Nice-looking, but...

This is a beautiful lamp that looks like artwork. Unfortunately, the one I received didn't work--as in, it didn't light. My money was refunded, but with relatively slow shipping times, it took a while to get it back. Too bad, because it would have been perfect for the space.

good concept and execution, but......

Interesting use of LED technology however the design falls short in 2 regards: first, the magnet that secures the lamp head "L" to the upright shaft becomes an unexpected pivot if you attempt to move the arm to a better position. Should have had (2) magnetic strips to make more secure. Most basic flaw is the base should have been designed with a swivel so lamp can be placed NEXT to a chair when not in use then rotated over one's reading material for use. I'm going to have to modify mine for this. At $300 it would seem that this design should have been better thought out. There is no compromise for an incomplete design....

Very stylish and cool looking

The lamp looks great. It's very simple to put together and light weight but looks substantial. The switch is very convenient. The only draw back is that you cannot angle the light.

Love the simplicity

I have this light in my office next to big lounge chair and it looks great. You must have additional lighting though. It is well priced

Sleek and modern Lim floor lamp

I love the sleekness of the Lim floor lamp. The arm is held on by a magnet and has adjustable heights which is great. My only complaint is the wire that connects to the wall runs up the side of the lamp and it looks tacky.
