More Table & Kitchen Linens

Reviews

Versatile, Elegant Linens

Nice oatmeal color. Beautiful embroidery. Haven’t washed yet. Not casual but can certainly work in mid (think business casual attire) to semi-dressy tables, depending on how you accessorize it. Think neutral, fall, even holiday tablescapes, gold, dried arrangements, these linens are a good backdrop. I wanted something I could use year round, that would work with either every day dishes (current set is turquoise and brights) to china (Noritake, silver rims, some sage green and tiny blue flowers). I ordered the tablecloth, placemats and napkins.

needs ironing

This is a pretty tablecloth but it’s going to need ironing after washing.

Good for most any decor.

Classic and so useful for a wide variety of occasions. Not too “girly” or busy.

Pretty and quietly elegant.

Elegant, light-hearted. I also bought the matching cloth napkins, a lot of them so they can be used frequently. This is a gift for someone’s first ‘real’ apartment, chosen together.

Works well!

This is a nice tablecloth. It fits with the decor in my dining room and doesn't overwhelm or feel too much or too little. I washed before use as the folds seem set in. It washes well and was ready to go with a light ironing.

French peeled embroidered tablecloth

I opened the package today and I wanted to use it cuz I have company coming. Once I put it on my table it does not have the smooth fitting like my other tablecloth. I am discouraged but I got it on sale so I will keep. I tried to smooth it out on the table but does not help. I don't know what happens if I wash it. I like embroidery that's why I bought it. I am disappointed.

Defective

I bought over a year ago, not sure I can return. I just opened and it is defective, I wish I could upload a picture. I expected more since this is Lennox product. The person checking to make sure there's no defect surely failed to do a good job. I will call Macys see what they tell me, I want to send pictures and I want it replaced.

Buyer beware, poor quality

I bought two rectangle tablecloths and one round. They’re beautiful, elegant, and I was very happy to find them. However the scalloped edges were slightly frayed in many places coming right out of the package so I took a picture to compare before and after washing. I really wanted these tablecloths to work so was particularly careful to wash them on delicate cycle and used the low dryer setting only long enough to dry them. Even so, the fraying was so extensive on all three that I had to return them. THREE poorly made tablecloths. How could anyone describe them as “excellent” tablecloths that “wash well”? Huge huge disappointment, way below minimum standards for Lenox and Macy’s. Mine came from the downtown Chicago Macy’s. Still, because they’re truly lovely tablecloths, I considered trying again and ordering online given that other reviewers were so pleased with them. But all three of mine were so poorly constructed that I just don’t want to risk another bad experience.

Not up to Lenox usual quality

I am disappointed in the quality and workmanship of this tablecloth. I almost returned it but decided to iron it and trim all the threads and rough edges around the hem. Also had to cut threads that connected the embroidery design. There was also lent that was sewn into the embroidery in multiple places that I had to extract with tweezers. After about an hour of work, it looks acceptable but don’t think I would wash and dry it because I feel sure it would not survive.

Perfect Christmas tablecloth!

The tablecloth is both elegant, and natural looking. My grandmothers dishes looked just as well it on it, as our modern Dansk dishes. I would recommend this for formal dinners, as well as more casual meals throughout the year. It’s good quality, and looks like it’ll last for many years!

Beautiful table linen

This is a very attractive table linen, although it is very thin, as mentioned by another reviewer. I washed and dried the tablecloth, napkins and placemats and they came out very nice (although I have not yet placed the tablecloth back on the table, but since it was a little long on the ends, some shrinkage would be welcome). I will likely run an iron over it before use, but if you are not overly concerned with a few wrinkles, you could get by just using out of the dryer.

Pretty linen tablecloth

Love the color, embroidered design and the thickness of the fabric. Tablecloth is of substantial thickness, not too thick & not too thin, so it stays put nicely on the table. Washes well with no ironing needed.

Very elegant and will be used with all white china

It is machine washable made of 90% polyester and 10% linen. The only problem with it is it requires warm ironing. But with the elegance it exudes, that is not really a major problem. We will reserve it only for the most special occasion as after all my girlfriend has collected 5 different tablecloths.

Love everything about the French Perle Collection!

I'm collecting it all! Started with the dishware in three colors (the 3 colors that I liked the best) so far I'm aware of five different colors available! Endless mix and match and add ons! I hope there will be more to keep it interesting.

Linen tablecloth

Very nice linen table cloth. I agree with another review that it's not "fine linen" but if your looking for a nice tablecloth but don't want to break the bank this is a good choice. I have had it for over a year now. Washes well and looks exactly as pictured.

Pretty and good quality

The past reviews I read were here and there. I like the neutral color, I like the width and the interesting scallop edges is a nice change. The quality is there. It is a good choice for informal use and it has enough of a nod to "pretty" without being fussy that it satisfies each family member at my place.

One casually elegant tablecloth

Just received the tablecloth today and it is gorgeous! I'll agree that it is a bit thin as one reviewer called out - however, you can't see through it so not too thin. It drapes nicely, has a beautiful, high quality look and is the perfect neutral. I'm not always the easiest person to please and even I am thrilled with this one! Matter of fact, ordering another one right now as I have children. :)
