Nice office desk

Nice light color office table with good storage. 60 inch wide is good size and comfortable. Comes in 2 box and professional installation recommended unless you can do a nice job. It took 3 and half hour to install office desk and hutch

For the price...Great desk unit!

I was so excited to get this L-shaped desk ensemble for my home office. My fiance put it together by himself in about an hour and 1/2 and it fit into the office space perfectly. It is a nice looking set, of course, at this price point it's obviously not fine furniture. The design is comfortable and since I use it for my jewelry business having 2 working spaces (desk and return) is perfect; I can move easily between the computer desk and work table with my rolling desk chair (I purchased a thick, plastic floor mat to make this easy as well as protect my carpet). The desk has two, 3-inch pre-cut circles (fitted with nice gaskets) at either end which is convenient to feed electrical wires and/or cables up through to the desk top. The cabinet piece is huge and it sits on top of the desk with a couple brackets included so it doesn't shift. The desk/cabinet side must be against a wall so keep in mind when figuring placement of the unit. The cabinet has a couple smaller individual cabinets with optional shelving along with several large open "cubbies" - GREAT storage, its perfect for all of my jewelry product/tools as well as paperwork, binders etc. I guess the only con for me is the finish on both surfaces (and the entire unit) which is basically a thick, paper-type wood "look" material. It isn't so much the appearance, I'm fine with that...it's what happens if something...anything sticky touches the desk top - it will literally rip the finish right off leaving light colored press board exposed. I use a lot of packing tape and, of course, I always forget about the fricken finish, uggggg - rip here rip there from long strips of that tape and now it's a "zebra" finish. Its very noticeable and very ugly, a pretty serious design flaw in my book - I'll most likely get some kind of spray on or stick on topper material to cover it soon. All-in-all, I still would recommend the desk unit - for the price its fantastic. Just be careful of the finish situation or invest in some preventative care prior to using.

This is a large desk. It is fairly sturdy, but putting it together was a bear. After spending hours putting the desk together, we thought we'd take a break before tackling the hutch - and four years later, we still haven't gotten back to it. The large file drawer does not stay in its track.

It looks nice, but the quality isn't great. I should have gotten a real wood desk, but I wanted a hutch. One of the drawers does not open and close smoothly, it always needs to be forced. I think if I ever have to move it, it will fall apart.

NOT SOLID-Please read

This item is not solid. It is poly-board laminate. The surface is terrible. It WILL scratch, It WILL peel.You will be calling for a refund. Which they won't give you unless you dismantle the 200 lb desk and return it.(Overstock that is),

the painting is already broken and quality is poor

I asked for a replacement for a broken part and the representative ordered another wrong part for me.

The whole desk was difficult to assemble. The quality wasn't what I expected for the price I paid. I had to hire a carpenter to reassemble the drawer doors because the predrilled whole were off and doors were slanted.
