Received defective item!

I purchased this Waterford crystal 8x10 picture frame for a wedding gift and the item arrived defective, with little bubbles included within the crystal. Plus it also arrived fogged up and with the Waterford seahorse badly pasted on the frame, almost coming off. An OBVIOUS defective/previously returned item was sent to me. I chose the shoprunner 2-day shipping option in order to get the item on time for the event, and now I'll have to go through the trouble of shipping it back for a refund and going out to purchase a new gift in person somewhere else. Not cool.

A gift that becomes a family heirloom.

I have the Waterford frame from when I was married eons ago and think it is a lovely gift to be handed down. Very expensive, but it is a treasured heirloom ultimately. I have changed the picture over the years to baptisms and other important events. Frame is heavy and needs to be placed in a spot where it will not be disturbed.

Perfect engagement gift for a family member!

The frame is absolutely perfect, beautiful and timeless. Got it for my granddaughter on sale and it will be part of her wedding presents. Presenting it to her at her engagement party and, I am sure, it will be a focal point at her wedding reception in October. Might have to get one for myself; never had anything so gorgeous!

Excellent communication with company...disappointing that the Waterford blue box had a hole from the corner of the frame breaking through since packaging was insufficient. frame and outside box was in tact. It was a gift & didn’t have timeframe to return, etc.

Unmatched Beauty!!!!!

I bought two Lismore picture frames (5x7, 4x6). Both were delivered only a few days after I opened Der and came in lovely, secured packages. The cases that the frames came in are practically art on is themselves. The quality and beauty of the picture frames is only that which can be obtained from a Waterford product. The pictures that I put in the frames are special that me and these two beautiful Waterford picture frames make the pictures even more special. These Lismore picture frames are true works of art.

Not As Advertised

New, flawless condition is falsely stated. The backing of the frame, in which the prop that stands the frame up, is barely holding on. It is loose and will eventually break off. I cannot display the frame as it should be displayed because it is unstable due to the backing. Very disappointed.

Disgrace Not what one would expect from Waterford

Frame came in an over-sized, damaged Waterford box. Frame was wrapped in bubble wrap, then wrinkled Waterford signature tissue paper. Disgrace! This was a gift! I went back to Macy's and the sales associate searched stockroom and returned with frames in similar condition. I wrote to Waterford and they stated it was Macy's presentation; Waterford would never sell in such a condition. I had no choice but to give it as a gift, thank goodness it was my daughter. While she is poised and would never be offensive, she did think it was a regift,or worse, purchased at a yard sale. Disappointed beyond words.

Beautiful but flawed

I ordered two 4x6 Lismore picture frames from Macys.com. I opened the box of the first frame and it was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, there was a bubble in the crystal. The bubble is not in the corner of the frame, or on the side, but near the middle. It is extremely noticeable and really detracts from the picture. I opened the box which contained the second frame...it also had a noticeable bubble where the picture should be placed. Since the second frame was intended as a gift, it has to be returned. I would suggest purchasing the frame, but only if you can do so in person. If you can inspect the frame in person you will be able to avoid any disappointment (arising from quality control issues) as well as the inconvenience of a return.
