Heavy sink, goes well with black hardware

We wanted to have something different than the plethora of white or black vessel sinks for our newly remodeled powder room, and this particular sink fit the bill nicely. The color is a nice gray.... right in the middle of the spectrum, neither charcoal nor light gray. One thing that separates it from others -in addition to the color- is the weight of this sink. It's really heavy! The installation was very easy, especially because of the large, flat surface area underneath. We paired it with a black pop-up drainage from Swiss Madison to complete the kit, and everything worked out great. Highly recommended!

The sink came with a finish that could be scratched...

The sink came with a finish that could be scratched off by fingernail. We asked if that finish was to be removed and could not get an answer. We returned it.
