I enjoy my shed.

Shed arrived on time and packed very well. I was missing a 2x4, but I happened to have one at home and I cut it down to use for the shed. Overall, I am very happy with this shed and would give a strong endorsement. I see lots of people mentioning the directions are lacking and I would agree. I happen to know a little about construction, otherwise it would have been a challenge. Thanks!

The quality of the shed looks like it is good, but there were quite a few of the boards that were a bit warped. There are 2 boards that make up each side of the roof. The thickness of the boards varied. I still need to put on the shingles, which I hope will cover this flaw. The instruction manual is terrible. I have built a couple sheds in the past and was able to figure out how it was to be assembled, but if you do not have any experience in building a shed they could be really confusing.

Had some trouble getting everything to line or match up the way it should. It still isn’t correct but, I made it work.

The shed kit came very well packaged with no damaged parts. When I unpacked the kit and took inventory of the parts and noted there were some missing rafter pieces. I contacted Little Cottage through their email and explained what was missing. They contacted me and said to buy what I needed and send them a copy of the receipt and they would send me a reimbursement check. The shed assemble itself went great.

Great little kit!!

I had mentally picked out the Gambrel and accidentally ordered the gable later on so the closeness of names was a slight issue but that's my own fault. The kit came quickly and had everything I needed. I had to do something modifying to add a treated base so I could put this no floor option on cement but it came together without any real issue. The anchors I had put in the cement every 4' landed right on the studs which are 24" on center so messed up there as well. The construction would probably benefit from some previous building experience and would possibly be a challenge as a first time project but I'm really glad I made this purchase!

Great price well made.

The Value Gable Shed was delivered in well protected wrapping. All pieces were labeled so that a DIY'er could easily assemble. Instructions were such that the build was quick. Wood provided were all stamped to tell builder what went where. Very happy customer..I would definitely buy from this supplier again. You would be hard pressed to find any other kit style building with this quality and customer service. Look no further.

2x4s were so twisted and warped, I returned it.

Check measurements

Was pretty irritated when I received a call from FedEx informing me that I would need to have some people at my house to help unload the delivery. I was under the impression it would arrive on a flatbed truck and unloaded with a forks. Instead it came in a 40ft semi trailer and was dropped in the street. Secondly I would double check every measurement before doing any nailing. 24 on center with the wall studs was more like 23 so when it came time to put the siding on you have no place to nail.

A good quality shed for the money

Overall, I like the quality of the shed. One of the smartside panels wasn’t pre-cut even know the signed packing list showed it was checked. The arrangement of the pallet could be improved by placing the floor panels on last so they can be easily reached first. The doorstops need to be made of something stronger than OSB sheathing to prevent splitting. The assembly instructions need to be specific for the shed purchased. The instructions that came with my kit where for a shed that has the door on the long (eave) side wall, and mine is on the short (gable) end wall.

10 foot 2x4's would have been better than sending 8' 2x4's with a 2' 2x4's to equal 10'

Very disappointed in lowes service. I ordered this product and at purchase I was informed it would arrive on the 5th, a few days later I recieved notice that it wouldn't be delivered until the 13th, not a problem. Now the 14th, i am notified that I will be updated on new date. I called and spoke with Mark the store manager requesting an update. Mark then tried blaming the vendor for the shipping companies failure and refused to assist.

Great quality

We ordered two of these. The wood is great quality. They came wrapped and organized neatly. Also, the boards are marked to help with assembly. Highly recommend.

Nice shed, required 2 people to put together but is perfect!

THE FRAMING WOOD WAS/IS WARPED OR GNARLED IN SEVERAL PLACES, AND AS A RESULT, IT HAS TAKEN SEVERAL TRIES TO GET THE FOUNDATION CLOSE TO BEING SQUARE. SOME OF THE WOODEN STRUTS NEEDED ADDITIONAL SCREWS WITH LONGER/BIGGER "BITE" SO THE SEVERELY WARPED WOOD COULD BE BRACED/SPLINTED WITH WOOD SECTIONED FROM THE "DISPOSABLE" PALLETS. IT APPEARED TO BE MUCH EASIER TO ASSEMBLE ON PAPER, BUT IT IS NOT AS EASY AS IT APPEARS. WISHED IT COULD HAVE BEEN PRE-ASSEMBLED WHEN DELIVERED.

Worth it!

This shed design was the right size for my needs. I wanted mostly 2x4s, which this one is. It arrived early, the driver put it where I wanted and was packed very well. As for building & instructions, the walls were easy to assem because most were nicely marked. Minor issue with truss assembly - instr were vague. Double check your truss size/loc. Instr need more clarity on over all dims. Use a framing nailer - No cutting is worth the purchase. Built in 1 day, shingled the next. Thumbs up!
