Worst toy ever

Parts doesn't line up together at all with the holes. The whole body is the issue with the car . I wouldn't buy this product at all . It took 3 hours to get it together but, it still not perfect for a child to use very cheap and unsafe not worth the headache.

Not a good product

Hard to put together the pieces were off so you have to put pressure on the parts to work . It seems very unsafe and not well designed for plastic pieces.

Terrible manufacturing

I bought the black jet racer for my grandson. The assembly was unacceptable because the holes for the back wheel axle were not aligned. Also , this plastic car requires a drill for the hand breaks. We figured it all out but really ? Little Tikes can do better than this!

[Rewarded Review] Perfect for my 5 year old son

This jet car is amazing. My son picked up the concept right away, and seriously FLIES on this. It was a pain in the butt to put together, because the holes didn’t align, but thankfully my handy husband was able to drill new holes and fixed it up in no time. Definitely recommend for kids in the 5 year old range. I also love that the back of the seat can be taken off to extend the leg room as they grow.

Length of car long

The car is great. Easy enough enough to peddle even for my 4 year old. My only complaint is the distance from the seat to the peddles. Even with the seat all the way up my daughter couldn’t get her feet squarely on the peddles; I had to build a custom extension.

Amazing car, poor quality wheels! :(

We bought this car last Christmas for my 3 year old, it is pretty cool and fun to ride. After a couple months the car wheels started to shift when my kid was pedaling. So I found out the wheel insert bushing (part D) of both front wheels got damaged with used, pedals where not moving the axel anymore. I am being trying to contact little tikes to get a replacement but haven't heard back. I would love to find a replacement so my son can ride his car again :(

Terrible

First of all the pieces do not fit together properly. You also need a engineering degree to put this thing together. Secondly, not even two full months later and the front set of wheels has broken away from the axel and cannot be reattached. Very disappointed in this product. 10/10 do not recommend!

Jett Car Handle Covers

I was very excited to purchase this item for my children. I have fond memories of playing with this as a child myself. Assembly was pretty simple and straightforward but the quality of the steering handle covers is lacking. They do not sit flush and there is not enough thread on the screws to tighten it down so there is a gap. This gap gives the appearance of low quality.

Disappointing

Wow, what a huge Christmas disappointment. There were several places that the holes didn't align properly to be put together. One I could have swung but it seemed like there was an issue every step of the way until it reached a point where I couldn't put it together at all. I will be returning immediately after Christmas.

Manufacture Quality Lacking

This review is not lost on me that it's a toy and a toy for a youngster. It's going to get greatly overused, abused and hopefully loved. Heck, we are Little Tikes advocates based on other toys we own plus the fact I owned the 1980's yellow version of this car, which I LOVED. Parts are good, concept good but assembly a bear since manufacturing is off.

A very sad young boy!

Not only did the Racer arrive damaged because there is absolutely no protective packaging inside the box but the box itself was so filthy (including dirt and oil) inside and out that I ruined my clothes (stains that will not come out after washing). And, after lodging a complaint with Costco they could do nothing because it is already out of stock. The supplier deserves a large portion of the blame as well because the dirt and oil were clearly not all from the Courier. It looked as though the box had sat open in a warehouse for years. Even more frustrating is the fact that my son saw the Racer and would not part with it (even in such a state). What is a parent to do. We tried to get a replacement from Little Tikes company directly but they were also sold out.

Good Choice

I purchased 2 of these for my grandkids for Christmas presents. They come unassembled so plan on some extra time for assembly which was not difficult after watching the video. My kids had one of these years ago and rode on it until they were almost teenagers! These newer ones do not seem as sturdy but are not as large as the older ones were. For the money,(I bought these on sale @walmart.com) I am extremely pleased and they love riding around in them. The only thing I would change is to have a different color, although I can see the reasoning behind their single color choice.

LT Sports Racer, Assembly Issues.

Will be a gift for 4 year old grandson's birthday. Two issues with assembly. First the plastic parts to secure the front axle do not align for proper insertion of screws supplied. And once you start to push the screws in, removal to retry is extremely difficult. Second, the plastic push pin that acts as the steering fulcrum and the holes it must travel through are not matched well on one side. It appears the chassis hole is not machined properly. But again, you don't know this until you start to push the pin into place. This makes for a

my grand Boys 3 and 4 loved their pedal cars. Big hit my husband at like it was a little hard to put together that he put two of them together in less than an hour so I just think he was complaining. but the boys absolutely love them and the wheels is soft so they're not scratching my hardwood floors and they have enough traction they can ride them outside. great Buy

This is so cool!

I bought this for my granddaughter for her 5th birthday. I love the sporty style of it!! It's good sized and pretty easy to pedal. She just got it so I'm not sure how durable it will be, but it seems pretty sturdy. The rear wheel steering is a bit challenging to get used to. My granddaughter is small for her age and she fits in it fine, but her cousin who is also 5 is too big for it. This was very frustrating to assemble, and several pieces didn't seem to fit correctly, things didn't line up right. We put it together in 2.5 hours to the best of our ability. It is one of her favorite birthday gifts!!

SPORT COUPE LIVES!!

We haven't bought this new model yet, but I certainly will ... the grand baby isn't born yet. We had the yellow little tikes sport coupe 30 years ago. Every child in the neighborhood loved this car! We went through a couple sets of tires and a steering mechanism or two. We still have it in the garage ... it's in the will! I can't wait to check it out, and buy it!! I am SO GLAD THIS IS BEING MANUFACTURED AGAIN. Good thinking, Little Tikes!!

Soooooo Glad It's back!

When my five children were young, they had the red sports coupe and the yellow pedal car. They LOVED them. These were the best riding toys ever. All the kids in the neighborhood, even those with battery-operated cars and even kids almost too big, bargained to ride them. I was so disappointed when now years later I wanted to get one for my grandchildren and discovered they were no longer being made.

Easy to Assemble, Easy to Ride

This pedal car was SUCH a big hit. It was for our 5 year old grandson who figured it out a flash. It was easy to assemble though it took some time. The instructions were extremely helpful and all the hardware and tools were there. Great toy!! Wish our daughters could have had a Sport Racer when they were growing up.

Great Little Car!

Wonderful toy! Kid powered! Helps develop coordination but not too difficult for a three year old to enjoy. My 3 year old needed a little help reaching the pedals. I put a folded towel behind his back, works well. There are two seat adjustments to grow with your child. Can’t imagine what kind of normal play could top it over. Very stable. Does take a little effort putting together but you’ll be glad you did. I recommend.

I got the little tikes sports racer car for my sons birthday! It was a hit! All of the kids at the party took it for a ride. It’s pretty easy to put together. The directions were very easy to follow. It petals and starts very easy. My kids can be pretty rough on things, but this car is heavy duty! It can hold up to the toughest situations. I guarantee your child will love the little tikes sports racer as much as mine did! It’s very safe compared to others! You don’t have to worry about your child falling out! I highly recommend this car!! Parents, you won’t be disappointed.
