The Loctite foam is a great product that I use often. It is more expensive than the other brands, but it's my first choice. One thing to check is the manufactured date. The company told me that the propellant in the can only has a two year lifespan.
Horrible Design
The foam does not adhere well at all. Used it on a metal pipe against my regular home wall and it just falls apart as large clumps. Stays very sticky so you cant shape the foam even after having difficulty getting the foam to stay. Breaks apart when trying to shape. I should have stayed away seeing it has 3 stars overall.
Historically, I have used the great stuff brand, expanding foam for various purposes, obviously, and most often feeling gaps and cracks. The great stuff product works, of course, but it dries a dingy yellow color. This Loctite brand works just as well, no problems getting every last drop out of the can. The best thing about it is that itis a bright white color, and dries bright white. So if you get a little bit of it on a white surface like door or window trim, it does not stick out like a sore thumb like the great stuff. I will be moving forward when I need an expanding foam. is a bright white color, and dries bright white. Terrible
I bought this product to fill in the gaps around a range hood vent pipe through an exterior wall into a soffit. 1. Will only spray foam out when inverted. So you can't use in tight spaces. 2. Does not adhere to anything that it is closing the gap of, ie, wall & stovepipe. It literally fell off of the stovepipe to the ground. 3. Does not expand very well. I bought this because it dries as a white foam, assuming it was as good as the yellowish stuff. Guess what? I'm going back to Home Depot and buying the yellowish stuff: GREAT STUFF!
This is the best foam I've ever used.
The Loctite TITE FOAM big gap spray was the perfect solution for a 2 inch hole by my ac unit. I had to replace my outside compressor and the ac guy rewired the breaker directly to the unit leaving a big hole in the side of my stucco wall. This product was the perfect solution to fill and seal the hole .I would highly recommend it.
Too Little Foam
Bought 2 cans. The spray worked on one but came out the bottom of the nozzle on the other. In both cases, the amount was too little for the price and ability to accomplish the task. It only covered a few feet along a baseboard before the can was empty. I tried the other can and got the same result. Too little product for the money. I'll try another brand which, hopefully, will be more generous in the amount of product in each can.
The foam inside the can seems good. Some of the cans on the shelf at the store are missing their straws. I have never been able to successfully reuse a straw from one can to the other. They always either break when removing or don't make a good seal on the second can spraying foam out the bottom of the straw where it meets the can. So unless you have an alternative idea, I'd skip buying the cans that are missing the straws.
Please believe the bad reviews
I don't know why I bought this even with all the bad reviews. This product can only be used with the snap on plastic attachment. The snap on attachment lifts up when the trigger is pulled. This piece that snaps on raises up and the foam is released from the canister. What a mess even though I wore my latex gloves. This foam would be good if the foam came out of the nozzle. Also Loctite does not take responsibility and blames it on the retailers. I spoke to Walmart.com and I asked the customer service person to put in a customer complaint to there buyer. Companies that pass the buck are no good and it's not just the faulty attachment you should see the mess and was stuck to my clothes
Doesn't dispense much, very disappointed
Followed directions and after several seconds it already stopped dispensing, heard just propellant but no foam. Then sprayed into a garbage can to test and after seconds of just propellant a little foam dispensed very briefly. Indicated production date is late 2022 so it shouldn't be "expired" already.
Dispensing Disaster
While the foam is great, half the foam vents out the tip, and half vents out between the can and attachment point of the new snap-on dispensing device. Screw on type dispensers never had this problem. The snap-on dispenser just does not have the strength to hold a solid seal while the more viscous, highly adhesive large gap foam is being dispensed. At one point, the dispenser actually unsnapped itself on one side while dispensing and required re-attachment. Even when properly attached, half the foam vents out at the dispenser attachment point. Cleanup was a nightmare, as most of the foam was all over the place. Lesson: never buy a foam that does not use a screw-on dispenser.

Finally a product that actually does what it says it can do! FYI, this stuff expands, a lot!! Used it to fill in aluminum lanaii rails (some genius put a thousand screw holes and it leaked like a sieve inside) and I forgot to block up the fill holes I drilled and before I could get to it there were "snakes" coming out and it was REALLY sticky (don't recommend touching it unless you plan on bathing in acetate) and continued expanding for a couple hours. My bad, not the product. No more leaks! And the price was actually lower than the others. Good stuff. Buy an extra, you'll probably find another use somewhere.

Locktite Tite Foam for Big Gaps is a new version of the existing competitive product that some of us are familiar with – Great Stuff. It is advertised as being 4 times denser (4 times more cells/cm3) than the competition, resulting in fewer voids. It is also advertised as resistant to air, moisture, and pests; bonds to most building materials; more resistant to weather elements without becoming brittle; sandable and paintable; stands up to movement (flexible); fills gaps up to 3 inches. (I will be making comparisons to Great Stuff as the competitive product throughout this review.)

Bought this product to seal what I thought was a 1 1/2" pipe hole going into the outside wall near ground level; turned out to be an opening just thru the wall. Modified a toilet paper core tube so as to create a plug, pressed this plug into opening about 1/2". Then injected the FOAM into the depressed area. When it set up I was able to cut back the expansion excess foam to roughly match texture of stucco coating.

This works great! I experimented with it first, because I didn’t know how much it would expand. I sprayed some on a piece of cardboard, and 20 minutes later it looked about the same size. Then I sprayed some in a flowerpot and took a picture immediately, and then a picture 20 minutes later. I could definitely see that it had expanded. In another flower pot I sprayed enough so that after 20 minutes it expanded enough to fill the pot. I left it sitting in the sun and came back a day later, and it had expanded a lot more. I had also stuck a 1 x 1 stick in it while it was still wet, and now I can’t pull the stick out, so it is definitely adherent and strong. It’s very lightweight, like Styrofoam, but not full of lumps like styrofoam. It cuts like a hot knife through butter, and I took a picture of the cut surface. I also spray-painted it, and the paint covered without any problem. My use for it is a little bit unusual. I needed it to seal the gaps in a waterfall/water feature for the pond in my backyard.
