I’ve been using this product all summer on my BBQ as well as my gas range in my kitchen. Easy to use and clean and it’s great for smash burgers!

Great for french toasts!

We are very pleased with this griddle. We use it everyday for breakfast cooking (French toast for the kids). It is easy to clean and super sturdy.

Pretty good but has hot and cold spots

Pretty good on the induction stove but there are definitely hot spots so not the even distribution I thought I would get with this. Once that was figured out pancakes came out pretty good.

Perfect Pan

I love the design & functionality of this grill/griddle pan! It fits 2 rolls of sliced breakfast sausage! And the handles are great! (Most of the other ones I’ve seen do not have this type of handle). And it comes pre-seasoned!!

Careless shipping method

The shipper tossed it into a cardboard box that was too small for it in its long dimension, and about 14" too large in the other two dimensions, then added a few ounces of thin paper that did nothing to fill the box. The almost-empty cardboard box, of course, did not survive the trip. One side of the almost-empty cardboard box was ripped wide open, and mail belonging to other people had slipped inside. This included a critical medical scan of some patient from a naval hospital.

Solid product

I’m very happy it works on my induction stove. It’s heavy duty and feels like it will last a lifetime. Just need to learn how to take care of it properly. It’s a bit difficult to clean on the ridged side.

Makes perfectly cooked burgers

Gave it to my brother and sister-in-law and they thanked me by cooking some burgers on it. They were great burgers.

You get what you pay for.

This cast iron griddle is an excellent piece of equipment. Very versatile in as much as it can be used on so many surfaces. Very well made, much to recommend.

too short - one handle ends up over burner

it is advertised as 19 inches wide, but that includes the handles and ends up with one handle over a burner when used on a regular size cooktop.

Grill side doesn't work on induction stove.

Good size and the flat top works well. Unfortunately, the grill side doesn't work on induction stoves. The rim is too high so. Not enough contact is made between the recessed flat top and the surface of the induction stove. The flat top works because the griddles of the grill side make contact.

Disappointed and not returnable.

I had to completely re-season it after the first use. I've used Lodge for years.

Great griddle but caution with induction stoves

The griddle itself is great. I love the reversible sides and it cooks nicely. However I bought this to use with our induction stove and sadly it’s difficult to use it. Because the induction needs touch points to heat, it doesn’t quite hit them on the double burner option on the stove. So while we can use it on the large burner, it doesn’t coil as evenly on the ends and defeats the purpose of having this great double griddle.

Very heavy. Haven’t cooked on it yet, but arrived quickly and well packaged.

Pan for life - love

You need some muscle to pick this pan up! They were clever about making the handles such that you can pick it up easily no matter what side is up. I highly recommend following the (usual) cast iron cleaning and putting oil on it right away because as always, they rust immediately if you don't.

Lodge gone wrong

I have to say the worst cast iron I have ever owned I don’t recommend it I give it 0 stars it got rusty after using it the first time after that i returned it to create & Barrel the manager did not want to give me my money back being I only had it for a couple of days she said I left it in water that was not true it was the worst quality cast iron I will never purchase that brand ever again I don’t recommend it.

Great grill / griddle

We recently moved to a new home that has a gas stove with the double burners on it and this is perfect for it! The double sided feature is really cool and I’ve never seen it elsewhere. We’ve used it a few times and it is nice! When the weather isn’t the best outside, we can just grill inside!
