Excellent heat conduction. Enamel-coated interior cleans up easily. 5.6-liter capacity is a little smaller than I anticipated, and rounded bottom reduces the area available for browning meat. But overall, an excellent product at a very modest price.

While the product is from a good company, I was not expecting the extreme weight of this pot. Yes I did know it was made of cast iron, but man, is it heavy. I can only imagine how heavy it will be with food in it. Other than that it is a beautiful pot.

We ordered the "Indigo" color - the color matches the color shown on the website. We love it! It arrived quickly, and was packaged well for a heavy item. Ordered this as a Christmas gift to my parents, and am considering ordering one for myself!

great product, horrible shipping configuration

I love this product and use it all the time. Bought it from Target to give as a gift, and the first one arrived damaged because it was the only item in the box, the box was larger than the dutch oven, and there was NO packing material inside the box (no paper, bubble wrap, etc.)! They processed the replacement quickly and easily. But, when the replacement arrived, it was in the same packaging configuration (only item in a large box with NO packing material). Luckily, it did not appear damaged. So, beware of ordering this item from Target because they will not package it properly and who knows how many replacements you'll need.

Not just pretty…

I shop at QVC sometimes and I have been so close to ordering the Le Cruset enameled cast iron pots so many times but never follow through due to the cost. I’ve been trying to find pots that are going to last (I’ve tried so many different brands) and decided to give the Lodge enameled pots a try. They do not disappoint. I believe the pots will last many years. The price point is great. It will be fun to build my Lodge inventory up and retire the other pots that can’t compare. These pots are not only perfect for cooking everything, they are good looking as well, from top to bottom. Beautifully made.

I got the red one! It's a good size; I already have a larger Dutch oven pot that is sometimes just too large for the recipe I have in mind. The quality is fabulous. The price was good.

I bought this as one of the first new pieces for my new home. I’m ext pleased with it. It cooks everything beautifully and evenly. It started my journey with iron cookware.

I had to find a Dutch oven pot that worked on my Induction stove top. This is Dutch oven pot is beautiful and easy to clean with the lodge brush. I know that I can pass this on to my children. The quality is long lasting.

My daughter was thrilled with this dutch oven. She uses it for baking sourdough breads. Her results have been very good. Shes happy.

I bought the 7.5 quart in blue and am so happy with it! First, it looks great. The color is vibrant and I usually keep it on my kitchen cart as an accent piece. I bought it for baking crusty boules and then discovered it is also perfect for big batch cooking like making tomato sauce. I have a good quality stainless steel stockpot that did a fine job for cooking down tomatoes for sauce, but this Lodge pot performs so much better. Because it retains heat so well and cooks so evenly, I no longer have tomato sauce volcanoes splattering and I can actually leave the lid off and not babysit the pot. With the lid off, the sauce cooks down faster and with the wider base, it is easier for me to use an immersion blender in it. For the same reasons, the pot is also great for big batch applesauce. Back to the bread—it does a great job with the boules, but also will fit a loaf pan. I oven preheat and then put a circular metal grate (Instant Pot one fits) , then the loaf pan with the dough, and then the lid. The loaf comes out with a nice crusty top just like a boule and you can hear that wonderful crackle. The enamel cleans easily, but you will get a workout with the weight—this big boy is heavy!

Sadly, this item was falsely advertised as a 3 Quart pot. It is not. It is 2.5 Quarts to the very rim. The packaging it comes in also claims it is 3 Quarts.

I got the red one and I only had it for 3 months. , I did have the pot in the fridge with rice inside of it, but when I took it out of the fridge I noticed that that rim started to rust..I wasted my money, food I had to throw out..I am disappointed. I wanted to provide photos, but my phone was not working well, I do have the photos and the pot if Wayfair does contact me...

It's a great product! I'm so surprised it was delivered on time since we are having a tropical storm. Thank you to the delivery man who weathered thru the torrential rain and high winds!!!!

Love it! I got it as a gift for my daughter. She makes the best sourdough bread! I can’t wait to give it to her on her birthday! I love it so much maybe I will give it to her early!

Heavy duty dutch oven! Cooked my first soup with this pot, and it came out delicious. It was easy to clean, and can be used to store food in the refrigerator as well.

This is the best pan for making roasts, gravy, chili, taco sauce, etc. It browns meat better than any other pan I have used. Highly recommend purchasing this Dutch Oven.
