LOVED my new plates - so pretty! They are much sturdier than other melamine dishes I have and have a slightly bumpy texture reminiscent of ceramic. The colors are very vibrant. They are larger than I thought they'd be for a salad plate. In fact, they're larger than my everyday dinner plates! Maybe call them luncheon plates instead? So far, once through the dishwasher did not hurt the finish. (Not sure how the colors will stand up to repeated washings.) Took about a week to arrive, but were in perfect condition when they did.
