[Rewarded Review] Great water glasses

These glasses make water taste better. They have a nice weight to them. If I could I would take a half star off I would because they chip more often than not in the dishwasher but they have a 25 yr guarantee and the company reportedly replace them.

These glasses are wonderful - exactly what I was looking for. I needed a set of water glasses for Thanksgiving and these were perfect. They are understated but elegant. Will definitely buy this brand again.

Love these glasses but...

These are awesome glasses -- better than the comparable Schott Sweisel or Reidel bar ware: clear and "steely" not faded, solid but not too heavy. I would love there to be a middle size btw the highball and DOF. The DOF is quite large -- only 3 oz smaller than the HB. I don't drink old fashions (or alcohol at all), and these are overwhelming as water glasses -- would love a 10-11 oz glass in that shape.

I really like the Luigi Bormioli line of Crystal Glasses and Barware. The quality, look, designs and durability are great. I have not had any problems with breakage in the dishwasher as someone else reported. I would suggest they learn how to load a dishwasher properly as it is not that difficult.

I love the look of these glasses, so I put them on my registry. I’ve had four chip in the dishwasher in less that a year, despite being very careful with their placement. Beautiful glasses but not practical for everyday.

I ordered several different brands of glasses in this style and these stood out from all of them. The glass is very clear and "high end" looking and the weight in your hand is substantial. They integrate perfectly with my crystal without being too fragile for daily (teenager :) use.

These glasses are functional and sleek. Two weeks of being in the dishwasher and they still look like they were just out of the box. The sleek styling adds flair to your everyday and party tables.

Way bigger than I thought! I expected them to be shorter and more narrow. The wider size doesnt bother me at all though, very nice cups. Heavy bottom which is good but the rest of the cup is quite thin. I haven’t experienced any cracking or breaking but I’ve only had them for about two weeks and I hand wash. If you want high ball glasses for cocktails, these might be too big. Not as appealing to the eye for a cocktail. The cup holds a lot of liquid! These are my dinner cups and I love them. Only bad thing is they get finger marks so easily !

I bought three sets of the glasses and they are great. Just the right weight and they have a heavy base on them and will not tip over. Plus they dont discolor after years of use. They are the best quality glasses Ive ever bought. I love them, I recommend everyone buy them, they go with casual dinning and more elegant dinning as well.

Great water glasses

Love these glasses and ordered a second set. They’re roomy but elegant, and go through the dishwasher with no problem. If you’re used to a sturdier glass or have kids, however, they probably are not for you.

Luigi Bormioli Highball Glasses

We just purchased eight Luigi Bormioli Highball glasses. I was very excited because I looked for months for nice glassware that fit well in my relatively small hands. I love the look of the glasses, the weight, and how they feel when drinking from them. But then, I ran four of them through our Bosch dishwasher, properly spaced, with none of the glasses touching each other or any other dishware. After the drying cycle was complete, one out of the four of them was cracked. That's a 25% failure rate after exactly one use. At this rate, they won't last long. I am very disappointed. The "guarantee" only covers chips and cloudiness. It does not cover cracks. Again, I'm deeply disappointed - especially since I was originally so excited and looking forward to having them for a long time.

These are good, basic glasses. A couple of glasses have broken/chipped rather easily when I accidentally hit them on the dishwasher. Since the price is good, I bought an extra box to have replacements. I would purchase them again.

Chip Resistant? Not really.

I bought these glasses when my husband and I moved into our new apartment. We did not have them very long before two of them chipped. One glass chipped and cracked so badly we had to throw it away. Another glass has a chip at the top. I would not buy these again.

Perfect for everyday!

I was looking for a glass that we could use everyday and these fit the bill. They are weighted perfectly on the bottom for the light weight glass. They come with a "chip" return program, which is an added benefit since I wash these in the dishwasher. Love them!

Wonderful Glasses!

For our wedding we asked for the champaign flutes, highball, double old fashioned & all-purpose wine glasses. We were lucky enough to receive all of them and they are great! We love the simple lines of all the glasses and that they're chip resistent. We haven't had any issues so far with chips etc. I'd def. recommend the Classico glasses if you're looking for a classic design and sets of glasses that will last you many years!
