I love this piece

Took me forever to decide on a nightstand but this is the perfect one! Black obviously shows dust really easy but I'm all about the aesthetics over practicality. I love the height and drawer size.

Aesthetically pleasing, terrible construction

These are the worst nightstands. From the pictures online they checked all the boxes. Multiple drawers, bottom shelf, tall, and made out of wood. In terms of storage, they do hold quite a bit and are perfect for my partner and I both having the things we need within arms reach. However the construction has ruined these night stands for me.They’re constructed out of what I can only guess is some type of cardboard composite. This makes them 1) surprisingly weak and 2) ridiculously porous.I made the mistake of ordering these to myold apartment prior to moving. Being incredibly careful handling my furniture, I was incredulous to see a decent gash on one of my night stands and micro-cracks on both of them. Even ikea furniture stands up to a move better than these. The porous construction is the truly unforgivable aspect of these nightstands. If you spill a single ounce of a liquid on these, IT WILL SHOW FOREVER. There’s no way around it. Have somebody over and they briefly set a cold drink down without a coaster? Say hello to a ring. Knock a drink over in the night and wipe it up immediately? Permanent discoloration. And because of the light coloring of these nightstands, the discoloration will be very apparently. The piece is not varnished and chips easily. We love the wood and look if only it didn’t chip. Very disappointed.

No table ever received

I never received the table.

Love the style but it smells really bad

Beautiful piece of furniture. It's well made and so pretty. Sadly, I have had it for over two weeks and I can't even bring them in the house yet. They have such a strong chemical/Smokey smell that I have had to keep them on my patio. I've wiped them, used baking soda, dryer sheets, nothing is helping. I did call customer service and the representative was super nice, but I just want to have the side tables in my house. She suggested a diluted vinegar bath. I plan to try ASAP. We shall see. Otherwise I will have to try to send them back :(

The first one came in damaged, but Houzz took care of us and the next was packaged much better.
