Not thrilled with laminate, much larger scale

I bought this table in white with gold legs. It looks cool and modern in site images but it's plastic laminate makes it look lesser quality in reality. I wouldn't use it in my living room but it would work in a bedroom or kids room. The scale looks smaller in juxtaposition to the chair it's photographed with than it really is. It's pretty long and very wide. It won't work for my aesthetic but it may work for you. It's sturdy, I just don't care for the hard plastic laminate feel and look of this table.
