Great rug depending on your needs
I had a real cowhide previously that my dogs destroyed, so I was looking for something more durable. Yes the hair is thicker than real rawhide, it doesn’t look 100% real, but it also requires no rug pad on a wood floor (bonus) and is machine washable. So if you want something that will stand up to some abuse, this is a good option. Very happy based on my needs.
Not what I was hoping for
Kind of looks and feels like a bathroom floor rug quality, but with a leather backing instead of a rubber backing. . . Not at all genuine looking. I know it's supposed to be faux. This is very faux. . . If you want something that kind of resembles a real zebra hide, it's not this. . . Think of this as like a bathroom rug that is designed like a zebra. . . But it's only $100. . . I decided to put it on my couch to liven up my couch.
