Porch planter to complete the room

Bought this for our screened in porch- it looks great and was the perfect piece to complete the look I wanted. It has weathered well and is a sturdy planter for when the wind blows! No tipping over!

The color on these pots is very orange so I sprayed them a bronze color. I have only had them outside a very short time and they are already bubbling and showing signs of being porous. Size is great, weight is great and shape works well. Durability is very questionable but I did spray them so that could be part of the problem. If you want an orange pot, these are for you, if you want a bronze, look at another option.

I love these on my patio. They are low maintenance to care for and attractive. Last year, I just set ferns on top of them. This year I’m using them for artificial trees on my back patio with white lights. Can’t wait to see how they look. Removable drain plug

do not buy

I would not recommend this product. Within a year they are crumbling. I contacted overstock to see if they could be replaced and was told that there was nothing they could do to rectify this suggestion. What a disappointment!! I ordered 8 of them and they can not be used. This was not what i expected. One would think that overstock would back up the products they sell. So beware!!!! you too could be out of hundreds of dollars.

Natural look, clay feel, rust brown

Good product. Bought 2 tall and 1 smaller version. Came packaged safe, in easy to move boxes with styrofoam. Review written same day as arrival. They have a "hand-crafted clay look", with a rust reddish/brown color. I followed the directions and cleaned them before planting, which was wise to do. If you are looking for constant coloring, or a type of "machined created" look, these are not it. These look like they were created by a clay spinning garden lady, but in a good way. Natural.

Just right for my front entrance. I was able to plant an array of plants that bring a unique creativity of colors and a very welcoming entrance to my front porch. The planters are a great height and are heavy enough to stand the occasional wind that we have from the lake. I love it!

Perfect copper color and size

I bought two of these. I had been looking for something that had a copper look to it and this does. It's rough and not smooth and will be absolutely perfect for when I get the horsetail reeds I've ordered. I can't wait! It's made really well and the packaging was awesome. I highly recommend!

Rustic & Modern

The stall Rustic Angled Planter is just perfect! It is the right size and style that I was looking for. They come with drainage holes, and a cap for versatile use. The coloring is rustic and the shape is modern bringing a nice balance to our decor. Would definitely recommend.

Sturdy and Beautiful!

We just got these in hopes to actually put plants in them come spring! they are deep, and the construction seems durable. The color is beautiful, but just a hair lighter than I thought they would be but they are pretty none the less. The style is contemporary yet has a traditional look. Beautiful addition!

Perfect planter for patio/deck areas.

Great container for any season outdoors Shape allows many possibilities for flowers, grasses and/or shrubs. I bought five and love changing the look according to the season. Well made and beautifully finished. Believe they will last many, many years. Good investment. Will buy more next spring. I definitely recommend this product to compliment any outdoor décor.

Very pleased with the product

Exactly as it was represented on the website. Lighter than expected which is a plus for handling. The shipping was timely and the packing very sturdy. Directions on preparing the planter before planting were included. The planter is modern, elegant and rustic in color. It fits perfectly within a narrow entrance, one could also use 2 planters to accent a doorway. This is the perfect accent for this Arizona home. Very positive first experience with Overstock.

These planters are GORGEOUS!!

I ordered 3 planters to place between my garage doors. They are GORGEOUS!! They look like rusted metal (exactly what I was looking for) and are very sturdy. I had looked and looked for planters all summer long and couldn't believe I finally found something I liked. Each planter was shipped it its own box with a great deal of protection and there was absolutely no damage at all.

Crumbling after 9 months

These are great looking planters. I was so disappointed when they started cracking and breaking apart. After 9 months outdoors on my porch they have started to fall apart on the bottom. Disclaimer, my porch receives full sun and is uncovered. I would not recommend these for an outdoor space like mine. These did not withstand being outdoors for long. Disappointed.

Great look, very sturdy.

Would have given it a 5 if the plantar wasn't open to the very bottom. Filling it with dirt is just a waste and makes it very heavy. I used plastic/wiffle balls from the Dollar store - about 12 of them to take up the space - then I laid some landscape material over that before I planted. I think it looks great and I can easily move them if I need to.

I like the fact that it is lightweight but heavy enough to never blow over in high winds. It’s also not so deep that you have to fill it with styrofoam, so an urn filler will set at an appropriate height. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This is a beautiful planter. Taller than expected but perfect for the space. The bronze color really adds the perfect touch to my front porch. I added landscaping rock to the bottom about 4 inches for stability before adding the potting soil and the bamboo plant. I am thinking I might add another.
