The light fits in perfectly with my living room that also serves other functions. Its low profile is perfect for the room. It provides excellent illumination for the 23 ft by 16 ft room with a natural sunlight feel.

Two man job

It's a little heavier than you might think. Once you install the support framing, you really need two people to lift and connect the light to the support cables and to then lift and slide the light into place on the frame.

Simple in Theory - Terrible Instructions

First of all, know that the included instructions are bad. There is not much to the light, and it is easy to figure out, but there is no reason for the instructions to be this bad. This light has wiring for a 0-10V dimmer. That is mentioned nowhere in the instructions. Obviously just cap them off and don't use them if you do not have 0-10V dimmers installed in your space but it should be mentioned. No measurements are provided anywhere in the instructions. The toggle bolts are adequate but the remaining screws have no instructions. I ended up using some really short fine thread drywall screws and putting them in the remaining holes just to tighten down the frame even more. I assume that is what the other screws are for. We opted for Luxrite due to the very low profile and have not been disappointed. They are considerably more expensive than their competitors. I replaced two 4 ft fluorescent 2 bulb units in our laundry room with 2 of these. Honestly, I could have just used one. One unit is twice as bright as the fluorescents were. We played around with the color. We had 6500k Fluorescents when we moved in. I swapped those for 5000k. We opted for 3000k with these. I initially had it set to 5000k. They were a little warmer than the ones we removed. AT 3000k, they are very warm. WHile I prefer more of a daylight in workspaces, my wife likes the warmth. The 3000k has a warm yellow hue. The panel looks pinkish at 3000k, but it comes across as yellow against our maple cabinets and appliances.

Delivered Dented in Store

The overall Luxrite lite was superior quality and craftmanship. I had it delivered at the store for a pick-up. When I picked it up, I saw two large holes in the box. I went against my better judgment and got it home. When I got it out of the box, it was dented in three places and got a refund. I have not decided if I am going to attempt to order it again. I am certain, Lowes delivery method was the issues. I will be contacting Luxrite as well. I have ordered other items from other companies and they same thing happened in delivery. They just don't handle with care and that damages products and loss of a sell and profits. What a shame.
