Disappointing

The pros… strong, leg design is good, spacious. Cons…the leather is cheap, feels very hot to sit on it, does not breathe. Also, the seat slants towards the front so you have to brace yourself to avoid sliding… not at all restful or comfortable. A lot of money for not comfortable chair. Also, the very heavy box was left in the middle of the driveway, blocking cars in.

Comfortable, solid chair

Very comfortable, sturdy chair. Appreciated that it was fully assembled when received! I am using this on a hardwood floor and it is completely stable and heavy enough that it does not slip or move at all when someone sits down.

Love this chair! I used to have the task chair Pillow-Soft, but I gave it to a family member. I have used several different office chairs, but this one just fits me perfectly. I love the higher back that this one has. The only thing is the arms are not really cushioned (hard-rubber) and my elbows were getting sore. I purchased the Flinct Memory Foam Armrest Pads for Office Chair Soft Elbow Pillows (also on Home Essentials Direct) and they fit perfectly, look great and took care of the lack of arm padding. I highly recommend this chair!

It is far sturdier than most other office chairs I have owned, the cushion does get a little uncomfortable after 5 or 6 hours of usage, it does have a leather seating area bottom and back, however the rest is vinyl, I wanted a leather seating area because all of the office chairs I have owned over the years were faux leather and the coating would start peeling over time leaving flakes of vinyl coating all over the place including my clothes, time will tell on this chair, I also partly bought it because my experience with HON brand had been nothing but 5 star quality, if the cushion on this one was more comfortable after many hours of use it would be a 5 star as well, if you only use it occasionally I would not hesitate buying it at all. UPDATE, the gas cylinder no longer works, the vinyl is tearing on the left side and the leather finish is wearing off in multiple areas, all in less than one year, I am very disappointed to say the least, I could have bought a new bargain chair every year for 6 years for the price I paid for this one, sad.

As I spent a great deal of time at my desk, I deliberated, read and reread reviews prior to my purchase. I purchase so many products online but hesitate with chairs as the proof of the pudding is in the sitting. Happy to say I am quite satisfied. The chair is comfortable, sturdy and attractive. The simple seat adjustment works well. The price was well below what appear to be comparable desk chairs.
