Soft, but only half the towel is usable

Since the end of BBB, I have been looking for a decent but inexpensive line of hand towels. These are relatively inexpensive, and after washing and using a bit, half of the towel is pretty thick and soft and absorbent. However, what I hadn't realized is that the fancy banding makes nearly half the towel completely unusable for actually drying; the banded areas are rough and nonaborbent, and the fluffy parts between the bands are not enough to dry your hands on. I bought three sets hoping these would be the ones, but two sets are getting returned and the set I opened is being relegated to guest towels for occassional use only.

Bad choice of towel!

I am planning to return these towels. They are not absorbent at all! Leave a lot of lint even after being washed twice. They feel soft but they are useless as a towel! I would not recommend this purchase.

Really nice Turkish cotton towels!

American Soft Linen is a great company that carries Turkish cotton towels. Quality cotton, quality made, beautiful colors, reasonable prices! Thank you Walmart for carrying such a quality vendor!

Disappointed at the thickness of these towels. I ordered similar products from Bed Bath %26 Beyond that were far plusher, albeit a bit more expensive. IMO it's not worth the savings. Soft out of the package but became coarse after just a few washings. Save up for BB%26B products, which are far superior!

I was very pleasantly surprised that these towels are really plush, great quality. Will be replacing my other worn towels with different colors. You will be very pleased with your purchase.

I love these beautiful, well made towel sets!

These are great towels!! They are bigger and thicker than most other towels for this price. I love the sky blue color. Goes well with the colors in both bathrooms!! After getting the first set, I bought a second set!

Not As Expected

Like the color and softness. Thought they would be thicker and of a higher thread count. Usually “Turkish” means better quality. A couple of the washcloths have faulty stitching around the edges and will unravel more and more after each wash.

This is by far the crappiest set of towels ever made. I have now washed them six times and still look like a lint covered cave man after use. This is what I should have expected considering where the items were manufactured. Won't purchase again. I am going to try to say with the USA made product. Either that or learn to air dry.

Very soft

I like that they are not thin and very soft. Even soft after a few washings. I did find it took a few washings to not have lint from towels on me, when drying off. Since I ordered black, definitely wash with darks as new black items normally bleed in the first few washings.

I ordered these towels (and the bath size) specifically because they stated that they had hanging tabs in the description. They do not. In addition, I have now washed and dried all the towels four times and they are pretty much unusable because of the copious amount of lint that covers you every time you use them. I keep washing them, hoping that will improve, as the fabric is soft and absorbant, but being that I ordered them in black, having small balls of black fuzz on my face and hands after each use is somewhat counter-productive.
