Horrible experience. The glass dome fastening is very clunky. The dome came loose and dropped from the ceiling shattering glass everywhere. I do not recommend this fixture

The white paint is not polished so it looks cheaper and gets stained easily. It’s also larger than expected even with reading the measurements beforehand. We returned it without connecting it, so not sure how bright it is.

I used this light at the bottom of my basement stairs. The area wasn't that big, so I installed this light without the larger out metal ring. The ring is quote big, and by using that, the light would not have fit. It still looks great, as shown in the picture. Installation took 10 minutes, as I was replacing an already existing light. Once installed, I added 1 bulb, as that was perfectly bright enough. You can add up to 3 bulbs if needed. Overall, a nice light.

Very stylish flush mount light. White on the outside but black on the inside. If you use the maximum wattage you will have 240 watts of light. The bulbs do not come with it so make sure you purchase three of them From Home Depot. That lights up a very large area depending on how high your ceilings are. The defuser is made out of metal so it’s not a junky plastic looking light. Very simple to install so any DYIer can install it.

The light kit has a metal external shade that is white on the outside and black on the inside. It includes a white frosted glass diffuser, a mounting plate for attaching to an existing box and two small wire nuts. The shade is kind of large which measures 15-3/4 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. It is super easy to install and only weighs about 5-1/2 pounds. The light uses (but are not included) 3 standard 60 watt bulbs and it does work with dimmable bulbs. It seems like the light goes straight downward rather than spread out because the shade extends below the glass diffuser making this ideal for smaller areas but installing this in a large room may make the room seem a little dark.

Looks very stylish in our bedroom. The light is more subdued than I expected, but it works well in a room with other task lighting - and you also don’t want it too bright in a restful room. Worth the price!
