Looks nice, but too thin

Rug arrived quickly, which was great. It's a full 4 inches shorter than the advertised 8 feet. I did see somewhere that the rugs could be 3 inches longer or shorter than advertised. Four inches is a lot. I was hoping for a tad over 8 feet, so I'm pretty disappointed with the "missing" 4 inches. There are a couple imperfections that I'm not terribly worried about, but it's still kind of annoying. And the pile - the height is great, but it's not very thick side to side (not sure how to describe that). It doesn't take much effort to use my finger to move the pile pieces and touch the bottom. (I have a different Safavieh rug that is much better in this respect, in that I have to work really hard to reach the bottom of the rug.) The result is a very thin-feeling rug. I had purchased a thin rug pad, but it still feels like I'm walking almost directly on the hardwood floor. I had to get a second rug pad to soften it up. Lastly, the color is about what I was expecting. It looks a little dull in the daylight, but in the evening, when I turn the light on in my dining room, it looks really nice.

Love the new rug. I like the colors & how well it goes with my decor. Very pleased that it lays flat & how plush it feels under my feet.

My new dining room rug

This rug is nice and plush. burgundy color is slightly brighter than expected but i still like it. we moved to a house with wood floors and so needed a rug for dining room. this was perfect

Really enjoy this rug. I purchased it for my family room and it looks great. Very rich looking and good quality for the price. Would recommend it as well as purchase it again.

Hold up over time

I've had this rug for quite a few years. Still holding strong. Not very plush, but that's probably why it's lasted so long. Vacuums up nicely.

Beautiful rug.

Love this rug. I was worried the "red" might be too red, but it's a beautiful cranberry color. The design is beautiful too. Delivery was fast and reliable.

Wonderful looking!

This s a wonderful looking rug. I ordered a really large rug, took some time for the fold, wrinkles to come out, but they did. Does not shed much. A very worthwhile purchase that we will enjoy for years to come.

Good quality. The colors really pop and the rug has a nice cushion to it.

Pleasantly surprised

At first I was concerned about ordering a rug that if it doesn't work out then I have to pay for return. The delivery was quick. The plastic wrapping is really tight. So be very careful with it if you do need to make a return. But I doubt you will. The rug is a mix of rust and burgundy. I would say more of the latter. Again, it depends on your lighting. It took about 2 days to completely unfold. Looks great. I have vacuumed it, but won't overdo as not to damage it. It is thin. The beige center does give great balance to the room. The flowers are quite large. Note that the burgundy borders do have a bold green touch on the feathery leaves. But it does flow with the pattern. I tried this in my dining room also, it looked great there too, but went for neutrals there and bought Safavieh Natura Annedorte from Overstock. LOVE THEM BOTH.

This is a beautifully and proficiently made rug. I have an old home built in 1910. The upstairs has a rather long but narrow hallway. I've always had a difficult time finding a runner that was long though narrow. Thank you for ending my lengthy journey to find exact what I wanted. It arrived within two days of placing the order. It fit perfectly and the colors are just as stated. It will take a day or two to lay completely flat on the original hardwood flooring (1910), but it already seems almost null of any wrinkles or bulky areas. Almost no odors at all. A five star purchase. Runner is 2.3' by 12. Thank you Overstock and Safavids.

great colors and pattern

Cons: thinner Pros: decent thickness, variety of sizes and shapes and colors. It has a very classy look. Good return on investment as the style fits every room. Yes, I would recommend it.

Make sure you purchase padding.

We have a long hallway and the 12ft runners look great and good quality.

Nice rug

I bought the 2x8 runner and the rug pad for it. It looks nice and elegant, not super plush but enough comfort from the hard wood floor.

Beautiful durable comfortable rug. Recommend a pad if putting on hard surface.
