12x18 is huge! Nice and Soft, rich color. Very happy.

Got the 12' x 18'. It feels really nice underfoot with no pad required. Colors are rich, looks good. Cat hair surprisingly disappears into the creams of it. Actually we happier than expected by the results. Great price too. Nothing to complain about! Just hard to get it down at that size.

For the price this is a decent choice. The pile is very scanty. I also got the runner that matches. The colors are perfect and did match the photo. Phew! I'm tired of ordering gold or cream from manufactures and receiving dull, dirty color tones instead. We will see how this inexpensive set of rugs holds up through the next few years.

6x9 orange Safavieh rug

This area rug is nice quality and beautifully designed. I needed some orange to break up the neutrals in the living room. The border is more tan than beige but goes well with the dark floors. Surprisingly there is some gray in the design which ties in with the upholstery. It has a short nap but is pretty dense. Should be easy cleaning my cats' fur. Great value for the price. Oh yes, it arrived in two days and was packaged well.

The quality was not what i expected. Fairly thin and not overly cushy. Unfortunately, there was a flaw in the dying process and the rug had a large band that was much darker than the rest. I will say that, thankfully, the return and refund process was super easy and efficient - I really appreciate that!

Feels/looks nice, packaged well, flattened quickly

I am happy with this rug, especially for the price. Feels nice, looks nice, packaged well (wrapped and had protective end caps), the colors are very vibrant, AND it flattened nicely and quickly. I just did a little opposite roll and placed some heavy items on the corners for a few hours, and it was almost completely flat already.

Pretty rugs

I bought two of these; 8' round and 10 x 14 for dining room and living room respectively. They are quite pretty and soft and with the added pads have a very nice soft cushy feel on the feet. They are nice quality and reasonably priced. They came folded and rolled so were quite wrinkled. Easy fix since it was summer is to roll them out on the driveway and let the sun heat the wrinkles right out of the rugs. Worked lik a charm. Better than waiting months for them to flatten out themselves.

False Advertisement

Advertised size is not accurate. The rug I received was a lot smaller than 12x12. After contacting the manufacturer,no was told that the majority of Lyndhurst rugs are not as advertised due to machine production. I would not recommend buying from this company. I purchased two rugs and they both had quality issues.

Beautiful carpet, perfect price

I don't normally write reviews but this carpet is exactly as it is shown in the pictures. But my favorite thing about it is that it is soft and comfortable to walk on. I have since bought another large matching carpet and a runner because I was so pleased with the first purchase. Very nice quality and the price is very fair for the carpet. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Gorgeous rug. I would absolutely recommend. Looks just like the picture. Can't believe it was so inexpensive. It looks expensive. It is lovely and thick and the colours all match well with most furniture. The design is so classy and traditional looking.

This is my 5th Safavieh rug. I love them all and get wonderful comments on them. This one has very vivid colors, especially the medallion in the middle. It is a lovely pairing with a larger more muted toned beige and red rug. I do plan on purchasing at least two more. Very easy to clean. I cannot recommend these rugs more highly.

I have purchased 3 Safavieh Lyndhurst Feryal Traditional Oriental Medallion Rugs in Ivory and Red. One 2'.3" x 6' Runner, one 6' x6' Round Rug, and one 6' x 9' Rug. The quality of the rugs is good. They are a little thinner than I thought they would be. The color is good. I really couldn't find the color rug and design of the rug that I really wanted so I settled for these. I really did not want a red rug but, I am glad that the red in these rugs is not a bright red and is more muted. The design of these rugs is different from the oriental rugs that I am used to seeing and purchasing but, overall I am pleased with these purchases. They are nice rugs for the price. (I included 3 pictures in this review. Where are they? I added one final sentence to my review and I was going to add a title because I forgot to do that. Can you retrieve my original review with the photos that I sent and included so that I can add these edits and a title?)

Beautiful rug!

I really love this rug. It’s very pretty. One thing though, it is a thin rug without rubber backing so I would highly recommend getting a good rug pad. The padding promotes cushioning and prevents the rug from sliding. Our rug arrived completely sealed and the ends were protected by cloth capping that prevented the rug from dirt. We were able to roll the rug right out. Again I really love the rug patterns and colors which are mainly a light rust or terracotta. There are also smaller amounts of gray, gold, burgundy, black, moss green and cream. Very happy with this purchase.

Better than pictured

3'3" by 5'3" red/black. LOVE this rug. I already had a safavieh large rug in living area that is blue with some browns, tan etc etc, and this one while called red with black has a blue background around the medalion, so it looked great with what I had and is more interesting that the picture, colorwise. I tend to love LOTS of stuff going on, so the more variations in color the better, for me. The pile is thick but not so thick I can't have it in my tiny "entry" area of my tiny apt. I just purchased another Safavieh rug today, makes the 5th "type" and only 1 disappointment. Take a look at customer's photos while shopping, I find that really helps. If I had done that extensively when shopping months back, I probably wouldn't have bought the 1 design I was disappointed with. My pics don't do it justice, sorry.

This Beautiful Rug Makes All Furniture Look Better

We recently married & joined two households of furniture. Paring our pieces down to only those items we could not live without, we came upon an unlikely combination of colors: Red, Green, & Black. I'm not an interior decorator, but I feel that this Safavieh oriental rug has grounded, and nicely tied together, colors that originally struck me as discordant... In addition to lending a well curated appearance to our main room, I am thrilled that this rug does not look like polypropylene! It has stood up to 8 grandchildren (all under the age of 6), many spilled juice boxes, 2 dogs, and assorted regular gatherings with many outdoor shoes. We have been walking on this rug for over a year, and it has never needed more than a damp rag clean-up and a vacuuming. I'm impressed with Safavieh's quality, the styling of their more affordable rugs ( like the polypropylene one we have ), and its ability to handle heavy traffic without looking worse for the wear. I plan to purchase two more large Safavieh rugs in different designs for our master and guest bedrooms in the next few weeks.

Gosh, does this rug stink!!

Arrived at our home on Thursday, Sept. 15, opened it up and laid it on our living room floor. (It arrives with a CUTE note saying that it is 'wrinkled' - of course it would be wrapped up so tight. Also said "Yes, that's the scent of a new rug... and in a little time in fresh air...your nose won't even know I'm here.") Well, by Thursday evening, the scent was so overwhelming, our eyes hurt and our noses burned....we could not stand it! So out into the garage. (Even once out of the house, the strong odor remained in the house for two days!) Today is Sunday, Sept 18, and it is still overwhelmingly smelly (unrolled, sitting on the roof of a car) Hoping that it will eventually quit off-gassing and we can bring it back in to our house! If it wasn't for the smell, would give it a 4 star rating - very pretty, nicely made, but should have been called 'yellow' not ivory. We do have previous rugs from Safavieh - one wool and another a man-made fiber, but neither of them stinks like this one! If it does not air out, will have to return it!

I had ordered a runner in this same pattern from a different source. I was very happy with the look and feel of the runner and decided I would like a small rectangle rug to match. There were none available at the former source. I looked up the product makers website just by googling the name on the back of the rug - the site provides different sources to get the rug, and the availability of different sizes. Houzz was the lowest price! I knew I would be happy with the purchase, but I was equally thrilled at the price and shipping. I wish I had shopped Houzz for the first purchase too. kjn

This rug exceeded my expectations! I searched long and hard for a rug for our reading/living area. Our house is decorated in mostly neutral colors with some pops of color. I was a little nervous to buy this rug because of the vibrant colors but decided to give it a try and purchased the rust color. When it arrived and was put down in the room I immediately loved it, almost to my surprise. The colors are beautiful and add the right pop of color to our otherwise neutral color pallet. I also love how it formalizes the room a bit and pulls it together. Also I am very impressed with the quality. It is very soft to walk on and looks and feels more expensive than what I paid. Very pleased! PS: we will be purchasing a coffee table to go in the space, so ignore the current ottoman in the picture

Perfect for a long wooden hallway!

Love love love this rug. First day we let it lay flat upside down to hopefully flatten the corners. Now by day 3 only one corner kinda sorta pops up, but not enough for us to care or do anything about it. I'm sure it'll flatten in a few more days; I'm putting something on heavy on top before I leave for work each day so I'm sure that will do the trick. We used nonslip pads underneath and it stays still in our super long old school hallway (for reference, the entire hallway is over 27ft long. I wanted a 23.5ft long rug or so, and 22ft was the closest option. Works great!!!). Also, it's pretty darn soft and feels great to walk on barefoot.

Beautiful long runner with matching smaller sizes

This is a polypropylene rug that is so soft, it feels like silk. I was fortunate in that this company had the length I needed for the second floor hallway as well as a smaller rectangular rug to put by the master bedroom door area.. I also purchased the low profile rug padding for both rugs and so glad I did because the pad only adds about 1/4-inch of height, so there is no added 'trip hazard' at the top of my stairs. The colors are wonderful -- it is more of a medium yellow-based beige background, with burgundy (not oriental red ore that country red that is often more blue-to-purple based), Looks classy IMHO and I hope this lasts many MANY years as I love the rug and the padding. It only took me 26-years to find the perfect rugs for my home! Highly recommend this rug and padding.

Beautiful rug, i absolutely love it!!

This is a beautiful rug!! The colors are very rich and warm. I bought this to brighten up my dark den. The background is a cream color. The dominant accent color is rust/dark orange. The smaller accent colors have a little olive and black, but aren't over done. It's a gorgeous pattern, but not overly busy. The rug is fairly thick. It feels plush under your feet, very comfortable to walk on. It did take about a month to flatten out on the corners. I laid heavy items on each corner, it finally did flatten out. I highly recommend this rug. I got it on sale and I'm not disappointed at all with this purchase!!
