Bad Purchase

I would not recommend this shed. I don't expect it to last long. It says it's made of fir, but it seems more like balsa wood. When assembling the wood kept splitting as the screws were put in the predrilled holes. I've never seen such poor material used for an item like this. I would have returned it, but just didn't know how bad it would be until assembly had been started and boxes had been discarded.

Visually Pleasing, But Not Heavy Duty

Just assembled this today. Visually speaking, it does look nice and matches the seller description. Time will only tell how well it holds up. Assembly was relatively easy, but a few more parts than I really anticipated. The instructions weren't clear on some parts, so use your best judgement. For instance, part 20 and part 2 have these little black square pieces of wood on one side, so when assembled those should be facing each other along the same horizontal level on opposite sides of the tool shed. These are used as essentially a small brace and alignment of two parts, numbered 16 which traverse from the front part 20 to the back part 2. I messed up on both, so I had to partly disassemble the tool shed to correct them. As for the overall shed, I would treat it lovingly and gentle as you use it since I'm not overly confident that it could withstand any heavy-handed usage. I'm only going to put my basic set of gardening tools (shovels, rakes, hoes, etc.) in it, to keep them out of the rain, and handy when I need them.

Looks good but light duty!

Looks great, but agree with some of the other comments about it being lighter weight and not as solid as expected for the cost. For us it serves the purpose to hold shovels, rakes, and other garden tools and we have it in our garage instead of outside. Even so we used the brackets to brace it so it won't fall over when you pull on the (magnetic) doors to open. Also, note it's important to look at assembly instructions carefully - the side panels sit in front of the rear panels, rather than side + rear for both back corners. We had to disassemble and reassemble a few times over things like this and think the instructions could be a lot more obvious. Finally, air out before assembly, you'll be glad you did.

finished a winner

it was easy to put together. didn't think much at first. once you get door on though this thing looks and works great. my husband loves the clean look now that I have a small shed for my holiday things for the yard.

Nice shed, overpriced

The colors are great, it’s a beautiful shed. The wood is not very thick and it doesn’t feel very sturdy. For $*** you’d think it would be more sturdy.
