Gorgeous! Appear hand glazed. Every piece varies in pattern and saturation. Only negative is that the bowls do not stack well. I placed sake cups in the center of each bowl, which stabilized the bowl being stacked.

Love love love these plates! We got them from our wedding registry a couple years ago and still love them! Heavy duty and each one is a little different texture.

Love that we could get a set without mugs. The small lip on the edges make it nice, so nothing drips off the sides. They are pretty heavy duty, not thin flimsy dinner ware. Received them quickly. Love the color, looks more grey shades than blue. Would definitely recommend purchasing.
