Product was cheap - return process a nightmare

Found the product to be very cheap. I returned it. Here's a tip - don't buy the set that comes with a bunch of pillows. You are getting a cheap product. You can get the pillows elsewhere. I went back to Macy's and returned it, bought a comforter in their "HOTEL" series, only comforter and shams, it is very nice. The return process was horrible, by the way. I bought on line - the item arrived without any shipping notice or paperwork inside. I took the original packaging/box to my local Macy's exactly as shipped to me. One would think that in 2024 Macy's would be able to find the purchase by name, date ordered, proof of purchase (credit card receipt) No. I went up to management level and while everyone tried to be helpful no one could help me. They gave the box/comforter back to me - my problem to solve. I had to go back to where I ordered on line - another challenge because I didn't order under a Macy's account, I checked out on line under "guest" -I had to go to a supervisory level on line to get help. It shouldn't be that difficult. My husband works at Costco and they accept returns with no receipt, no questions asked even a year later. Maybe that's one reason why Costco is flourishing and Macy's, well...not so much.

Decent

The color is a little darker than what’s in the picture. It’s also heavy when you have your comforter inside it. It tends to slide to one side at night due to the weight. Quality is fine, I wasn’t expecting it to have a sheen to it. It’s always hard to tell what an item is like when ordering it online.

Rich, classy comforter set.

The comforter is quite beautiful. The pattern is embroidered; the material is a rich, smooth and soft feel. It looks high end. It also came with two pillow shams, three throw pillow, and a duster. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Good quality at fair sales price

I had been looking for an affordable new comforter and bed skirt for a while. I found the quality of the construction, fabric, and the sale price very nice. It looks beautiful on my bed and I am very pleased.

Beautiful! So much better looking than I thought it would be. The king size fits well on my queen bed. I highly recommend this product

Gorgeous and High-Quality Set, reasonable cost!

Absolutely gorgeous! This set is beautiful and well-made and the pattern is so pretty. We have this in our guest bedroom and I have received several compliments on it.

Love my comforter set, in fact I purchased this one twice! I had the first one for years and it finally wore out. I tried another type of comforter and it was too warm so I went back to this one as it has a nice cool feel and sleek look.

Extremely disappointed. 3 seams were everywhere in this comforter. I tried everything to loosen them and remove this excess thread. It prohibited the comforter from laying on the bed correctly. I washed it twice and still couldnt loosen the thread or the wrinkles. I finally gave up, it is in the trash and I bought a beautiful quilt from wayfair that was a quarter of the cost. Ive purchased dozens of items and this is my first bad review. Usually everything I order from here is above expectations. Truly disappointing plus the fact that you cant call them anymore to truly explain the problem.

Disappointed

This arrived and was super wrinkled. I could not get the wrinkles out, even with a steamer that I purchased. I liked the color, decided to keep it with hopes of wrinkles improving. Never happened, and I no longer have the receipt. The comforter barely sits our king size bed, have to pull it longer on one side, just so it covers the side of the bed when we walk into the bedroom, so we don’t have to look at the mattress.

Nice Color

Really like this comforter and the colors match the photo. Have had it for a couple years now. It does need to be washed but there are already a few loose threads so I am worried about it falling apart.

High Quality, Comfortable Comforter Set

This comforter set looks exactly like it does in the pictures online. The dark blue looks very rich and looks great against my the dark wood of my bedroom set. It also seems very comfortable and the additional pieces of the set are great complements. I'm very happy I made this purchase.

Lovely Comforter

The material and the pattern are just beautiful. This is a quality bedspread, well made and elegant/casual. I love it BUT it isn't fluffing up! I'll keep trying and will keep the comforter because it is still pretty but I wish it wasn't so flat.

Sophisticated Purple

Beautiful. I love the muted Purple and Burgundy color palette. This is not an in-your-face purple, it's a sophisticated purple that will mix well with multiple other colors. I have a Silver Grey and Black decor theme, this set just pops.

Wrinkles :(

The comforter and accompaniments are beautiful, the color is exactly what I wanted, the fabric is rich and thick, and the stitching is an added detail that makes the quilt appear more expensive. Feels very high quality. The problem is the wrinkles. The directions say to put it in the dryer with a damp towel for 20 minutes on air dry, unfortunately that didn't work even slightly. I washed the pillow shams on delicate after soaking for 30 minutes, dried on low, didn't change the wrinkles one bit. I ordered wrinkle spray and if that doesn't work I'm not sure if it's worth keeping. It really ruins the look of the entire set. If you don't care about wrinkles this product might work for you.

Inaccurate Color Description

I returned this set because the color description is highly inaccurate. I ordered the lavender/purple but this set is gray! It did not look close to the color in the photo. It seemed to be a good quality but just did not match my color scheme. This set also had a very strong chemical smell.

The comforter is not bad for the price but the whole set is only so-so. Realize this is a lightweight comforter (not reversible) but it looks nice. The underside is quite soft on the skin. The stitching and the color design are not bad, either, and there are no loose threads or imperfections. In short, it looks and feels good. The pillowcases are not comfortable at all and the small accent pillows are for show, we keep them in the closet. The skirt looks and feels basic and it doesn't add anything to the look of our bed set so we don't use it. If you have traditional wooden bed slats on the frame under the box spring, I doubt the skirt is useful. The comforter we have is a King size and it does fit fine but I noticed it is not quite as large as the comforter (king) that it replaced.

Silky satin in twilight blue

This duvet set is so pretty! I love the embroidered detail, the colors, and the mix of the throw pillows. The backside material of the duvet cover isn’t as nice as I was expecting, the kind of polyester that will grab into hair and lint, and the pillows could be a little more plump, but for the price I’m very happy with it!

This was a great purchase! Its held up beautifully for the last year. I do only use it for colder months because it is fairly thick. I ordered the navy and grey for a queen bed. Its beautiful!

Pretty but arrived very wrinkled

Bought this 2 months ago. It is very pretty but it arrived very wrinkled even the decorative pillows. Sometimes things come wrinkled but the wrinkles smooth out after it is out of the bag for a bit. Not so much this time. I have even tried to use my clothes steamer. I want to return it but getting it all into a bag and to the store is a mess.
