Bed Slats would not stay put

I did install this bed myself and it was extremely difficult to understand the directions. The bed slats just lay on the rails and are not screwed in (or I couldn’t figure out how to easily do that). I’m so disappointed that I paid so much for a bed that didn’t last a year. I would look elsewhere.

Great bed for my teenager

I bought this bed for my teenage son and it has been a great addition to his bedroom. Two drawers on the bottom of the bed are huge and it holds some off season clothes and memorable toys/ legos that he can't part with. The color of the wood is nice and rich. The bed is solid and I think this will last till he is in college!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We followed the directions exactly. We attached the legs to the headboard, but then saw that the legs were missing one of the metal pieces that the side rails hang from. At this point, you can’t get the legs off of the headboard. The company refused to send a new headboard because they said the legs were defective and the headboard wasn’t. I told them that I can’t get the legs off of the headboard because that part is already assembled. They ended up sending me another pair of useless legs and I returned the entire thing to Home Depot for a full refund. Home Depot was great.

Quality is poor. Having received a number of things lately because of a move, I am completely unimpressed. I could have gone to a furniture store, spent the same amount of money, and purchased something that wasn’t embarrassing to look at. The shipping was also a disaster, but that does not play a part in my review.I did use the service to put it together, which is the only positive thing I can say about the ordeal.

Size

Bed frame is half inch too narrow to fit a full size mattress. Too much trouble to disassemble to take it back. Anyway, this keeps the matress at an angle. How does a company manufacture a full size bed frame without making sure it measures up? Will Home Depot or the company respond to this? Probably not.

Bed is great my daughter loves it but trundle isn’t what i expected. Doesn’t roll in and out smoothly. Still serves its purpose though.

4 Stars

The first headboard arrived damaged, Overstock quickly sent a replacement. The bed is sturdy and the trundle is perfect for sleepovers in my kids room.

5 Stars

we purchased four of this bed's for our guests over six month a go . I like this fact that, it is trundle ; you have two twin beds in one .We had a little accident on one of the beds leg , I contacted over stock and they send us a replacement right away. but after all The bed is good for the price you pay.

Modern functional full bed

A friend actually find this for me when I mentioned what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble and checked off everything on my list (nice headboard, rounded footbed (didn’t want sharp corners) and optional trundle. Love the color too! (Picture is just the bed but room and bedding not complete yet!)

Sturdy, good customer service

The directions started out a bit confusing but got it. The footboard was cracked, and they shipped out a new one right away. Sturdy bed and love the drawers, wish there was an option to purchase 2 more since only comes w 2.

The bed was easy to assemble except for the rails to hook up to the head board. The top inserts was not properly cut so the rails could fit in the top insert we had to make cuts so the rails could fit. But other then that so far the bed is very nice and pretty.

MDF wood. Very low profile

Bed was easy to put together. It's not real wood. Quality is good but not great. It is very low profile. I would like to use casters, but that blocks the trundle. It will do for my kids room.

Trundle too small

Trundle is too small for newer twin mattresses. We had to raise the bed another $20 in order for the trundle to work. The trundle didn't fit our new sealy gel mattress (too tall and too wide). We had to remove the two wooden back supports to get the mattress to fit. Also After we raised the bed, you can see the entire side of the trundle under the footboard. We would recommend the manufaturer to make all four bed legs taller and elongate the footboard to allow for the newer twin mattresses. This would accomodate an uncomfortable mattress that you would use on a bunk bed but we were wanting a lot more comfort than that.

It's an attractive and practical bed, but . . .

I loved the idea of the drawers under the bed. So I decided to order this Atlantic Madison bed from Overstock, because they had the best price. The bed took a month to arrive, and came in 4 separate deliveries. I could handle this, although these were not small or lightweight boxes and took up a lot of room. Once assembling, the hardware was clearly marked and there was extra. One drawer went together perfectly. the other did not have the holes drilled correctly, so I will have to have someone drill them for me. I could handle this. What I could not handle was the stays that came for the slats that hold the mattress in place. I was sent only the short ones made for the model with no drawers. A huge pink paper in each box of Atlantic's products tell you not to contact the retailer - Overstock. You are told to email or phone Atlantic 24-7. Well, two emails and two phone calls later, the most I was told from their answering service was that due to Covid, they are behind and it may take 2 weeks. I could not wait 2 weeks to sleep in my bad. Fortunately, I work with guys who were able to make me 2 supports the right height. So my bed is together, no thanks to Atlantic. I have no issue with the way the bed looks or with Overstock. But to have to wait 2 weeks to get vital parts? Atlantic has horrible customer service. Update: I received 2 drawers from Atlantic - out of the blue. No replies to my emails or phone calls. 0n 8/27 I received - again out of the blue - the requested supports for the bed. Too late. Less

Easy assembly, but not solid

I was surprised how easy this was to put together especially compared to certain Swedish furniture brands I know, but I have found over the past month and a half that it has become saggy in the middle, and the slats don't stay in place. The screws have come out of the pre-piloted holes already, and I've had to add about 10 additional screws to make it tolerable. I also find the base noisy and bouncy making it hard to sleep at night, no matter what mattress I've put on it. If you have issues with motion transfer, I do not recommend this at all. I have an area rug around my bed, and I find the drawers don't go in and out easily on top it, and often get caught on the carpet. Generally very unhappy with this purchase. I'm going to be returning it shortly, but buyer beware!

I really like this trundle bed. It appears to be made very well....sturdy and should be able to support adult weight without a problem. It was fairly easy to put together...the directions were quite clear. I did buy the recommended 10" and 8" mattresses and they fit nicely. Everything was shipped quickly and arrived without flaws.

Awesome bed! very easy to put together. The directions are very clear with just pictures and diagrams. The bed did have a small amount of damage on the trundle. Some of the paint was chipped in one small spot. Nothing a little white paint can't fix. Overall, nice bed for my 5 YO princess.

Good bed

The bed seems to be pretty well made, is solid wood, and is good for the price. We are using it for a guest room, usually for children, but an adult could easily sleep on either mattress (get a good one!). Assembly was fairly easy and we had all the parts and it came without any defects. It says it requires a foundation, but we used 5/8" MDF under that top mattress so the bed isn't quite so tall. The bed works great for a guest room or child's room. We read somewhere that the trundle would accommodate up to an 8 inch mattress and it does - without a blanket on, but I think a 6 inch would have been easier. It would be perfect on a hardwood floor for the wheels of the trundle to move easily. However on carpet, it does not work well and we ended up taking the wheels off and putting round disk sliders under the trundle, which makes it very easy to slide in and out.I think this bed is a good buy and I would not hesitate buying it again. Less
