Arrived with a damage.

We love this set. It looks nice. We love the game table. The only issue was the instructions for assembly were not clear. But we figured out on our own how to assemble it.

We bought this game table to replace the one we’d had for years. We paid for assembly. After it was all put together we were thrilled. Chairs were comfortable and it looked great! Then tonight, we decided to play a game on it. It was so wobbly it was impossible to actually use for what it was intended. And forget about sitting a beverage on it! So disappointing. If you want to buy this just for looks, fine. But if you actually plan to use it, don’t bother. Calling tomorrow to request a return.

Nice Table and chairs

Came on time and seems like a really solid piece.

We received the table days before it was scheduled to arrive and everything was packaged well. My husband loves the style and look.

I saw a much more expensive Chess table at a consignment store that I really liked, but it was out of my budget. This table looks just as good and I’m glad I made this purchase.

Very good follow up service

VERY poorly packaged - table arrived damaged (see pics) even though exterior box was NOT. Hardware bag arrived open with hardware scattered inside and missing a few lock washers. It is too bad because otherwise it is a beautiful set. I have to wonder if they sent me a damaged return item? I ended up buying a furniture repair kit to cover-up the damage because I did not want to go through the hassle of returning such a big and heavy item. First time buyer - not at all impressed with Wayfair so far!

I'm giving 3 stars because when it arrived one corner of the table on both the top and bottom were badly damaged. However, I called Wayfair and they were very nice. They offered to replace, to send out a repair person, or to give us a nice discount. Since this was a gift for my husband I let him decide. He chose to go with the discount, so I repaired it myself with a furniture repair marker and some shoe polish. LOL! With where the table is placed, the damage really does not show now so it works for us. My husband loves it! So Wayfair was great to work with, but I was disappointed in the table because of the damage. Otherwise it is a very nice set. I must admit, however, that I had read two other reviews where the table was damaged so my experience was not unique.

Item arrived with significant damage to the table in several spots. I think it would be a real nice table and chair set otherwise but it is hard to review as such with having to return the table.
