Very easy to put together but follow the directions and do not remove the letters on product! Stools do not hit the floor on one leg but calling the company seems to resolve the problem with leg levelers.

Exactly what I wanted

Very happy with these barstools! Exactly what I was looking for having young kids. Easy to put together and easy to wipe down. We also bought a dining set with x-back chairs in black and all the pieces work so well together!

Say something nice

I want to start off saying something nice. Me and my husband like the chairs. Now, the assembly was a nightmare due to poor predrilled holes barely lining up with their counterparts. The sturdiness off the chairs are compromised due to the wood chipping from the parts from each touch. I hope we can get some years out of them.

Function and beauty

These are perfect for my island. The grandkids love the challenge to sit in them. Messy PBJ fingerprints wipe up wonderfully. My granddaughter thinks they are beautiful.

Worst bar stools ever

If I could give these chairs a no star I would. I ordered 4 chairs and every single one of them had multiple defects in the wood and paint job. It even appeared to be touched up with a black marker on 2 of the chairs. Thank goodness, Overstock made it right and allowed a full refund after investigation.

Great chairs i definitely would recommend them

Good solid chair! Look great in my kitchen, very tall kinda wish they were a little shorter but either way they look great. Classic black looks very pretty looking I like them

Perfect!!!

A bit skeptical ordering with seeing in person or touch,, but we couldn't be more pleased!! The perfect height & the seat is comfy. Great quality & sturdy!! I had to put them together when arrived but the instructions were perfect along with screws perfectly labeled!! Will highly recommend!! Also so pleased with the $$.

nice corner-blocked construction and solid wood

I had this product marked to notify me when the price dropped and was willing to buy once the price dropped below $**, but the price ended up dropping all the way to about $** per chair! I am very happy with my purchase, the chairs are great quality, but I am not sure I would have wanted to spend more than what I did. Like others have mentioned, with uneven floors, the chairs will definitely wobble a bit, and the feet have plastic feet which may scratch hardwoods, but the chairs are very solid otherwise. They are relatively easy to put together, and the legs are corner-blocked for extra support (this is pretty uncommon unless the furniture is higher quality like Ashley Design), so they will definitely be around for awhile. Overall, great brank and design, they came packaged very well and way before the projected delivery date!

Great Stools

I'm always skeptical about buying Things sight unseen. But. After searching for Hub Height bar stools I finally choose these. Thankfully they arrived quickly and They are great. I ordered 5 stools for our new home. We are currently putting them together. Very well made and sturdy. Definitely worth the money. Go ahead and order. Thanks.

Bought Three

We ordered three of these chairs. They look great, but two of the three had legs that were not the same length/even. Thankfully, we didn't have the problem several people mentioned, with the holes not lining up. It did take extra effort for my husband to get the uneven problem fixed. So far, we like the final result, but please note that we've only had them put together for a couple of days.

Bar stools aasembly difficullt - worth every screw

I love them. My 12-year old son put them together for ms but had too many screws left. They felt too shaky. Wouldn't let ANYONE sit in them until someone put them together better. Son had good intentions but there were just TOO many screws left. Assembling these were difficult but the beauty of them were well worth it. Plua people notice them immediately when they come in my apartment.

Difficult to Assemble

When assembled properly, it looks good and feels pretty solid. It was fine to assemble where the holes were pre-drilled. But when you put in the wood screws that's where it gets difficult. We had to buy new wood screws to make it work. Most of the chairs were stable, a few of them had uneven legs that made them a little wobbly. Otherwise I like them.

Not worth the money, poor instructions/quality

This stool looks like the picture yes, however, the instructions on how to put it together were very lacking. Also the holes were not actually in the places they were supposed to be and the wood screws would not go into the pilot holes as the holes were missing. Very poor quality, had to use wood glue and other things to put this together as we were too far along to return it.

We love the look of the chair. It looks the same as online. The problem is putting them together and having the screws hold the cross bar when we sit in the chair. They pop out. So we are going to drill bigger holes and put in our own screws, also adding glue. Otherwise, we really like the chairs.

Exactly as described and looks like pictures.

We love the barstools. Exactly as described online. We bought 3 and 1 was perfect once put together. The other 2 was a little off measurement so was not even. Just took a few minutes of extra work to make the legs even.

Nice black wood stools

These bar stools are great. They are so similar to our dining chairs from target. I love the big solid wood!!! Easy to assemble and very pretty! The height was perfect for our taller bar! Our bar is 42in high!

I really liked the price of these stools and they are the perfect height for our new island that has a step up. They are solid wood and sturdy. The only thing I did not like was the quality of hardware that came with it. The screws were very cheap, the screw heads were not very deep, and one of the screws actually broke off in the hole. Luckily my husband has spare hardware on hand. The stools are heavy, which I am very happy with. I liked how I could buy these individually as opposed to sets, as I only needed 3. Initially I had hoped the back would a little taller, but now I'm glad it is the height it is so the stools slide just under the bar. Overall, I would recommend these stools!
