I was looking for a mahogany-colored table to match all the rest of my house. For the price i paid, I was hoping for something I was not afraid to set something on. I am just not sure the table top will not mar by just looking at it. I am also not happy the finish was not completed all over. The edges of the leaves had to have Old English scratch removed added to cover the missed area. The chairs seem very sturdy and of a decent quality. I would only recommend this if you can't find anything else.
