Looks Great! But read the instructions. . .
We LOVE this mantle. It is the exact look we were going for when we had our fireplace redone. (We removed a raised hearth and an old white, traditional mantle. ) My husband and I looked at the installation instructions and thought it looked pretty straightforward. So . . . we handed the instructions to the two guys who had done the rest of the work, and got out of their way. About 15 minutes later, I heard them talking about how it wasn't going to work, one guy saying that the angled piece of wood inside the mantle was put on upside down. They were discussing what they needed to do - remove the mounting board, find some sturdy way to hang the mantle, etc. I picked up the instructions and said, "Did you look at this?" Of course they hadn't because, well, they're men! 😅 A few minutes later, after actually reading through the instructions, they had everything in place. And they admitted that it was pretty clever how it all worked!

Pretty, but might need some extra work
Half of the screws provided were the wrong length, have to buy my own screws. The mounting board was uneven and can't perfectly fit in so I have to manually shave it in order to level up, but overall it is a very pretty product.
