Beautiful Desk

Just what I was looking for. Beautiful desk for the price. I loved the Ash Grey color. A little challenging to put together, it took my husband close to 2.5 hours to put together. I would suggest to have another person with you. Also, it was a little difficult to put the little screw covers on from under the desk, once it was assembled. We left it as is. No one is going to see it under the desk. Overall, love this desk!

I'd give the desk 5 stars but I'm only giving 1 due to the horrible customer service from both Wayfair and Angi. I paid to have the desk assembled was not aware it was contracted out to Angi. It was supposed to be assembled on 9/11. The contractor showed up over an hour late after texting me the night before asking if he could come early and gave me the new time. Once he was at my house he was here for 5 min and said 'I gotta go to another job' and left. I had to call Wayfair and explain and they had to reschedule for 9/13. Friday came and 2 workers were supposed to arrive 1 showed up on time the other was 45 min late and then came with another person. I was working from home in my kitchen when the 3rd person who I later found out was NOT contracted with Angi asked me if I had any other furniture I wanted to be assembled (b/c she saw other boxes) and said they run a side business and would give me 20% off. I was on a work call when she was soliciting this. Then after they left I found 2 huge dings in the desk that NO ONE mentioned. I called Angi and they said the workers should not be bringing anyone not on the contract and I asked for a refund. Which i haven't received because my receipt from Wayfair isn't good enough I need a Wayfair invoice. Then Wayfair was supposed to be crediting me for the damage done and that has been a complete hassle. So 1 star is for the horrible experience with Wayfair and Angi.

Desk fit the workspace at home perfectly. Sturdy desk and nice appearance. Would mention it took a couple of hours for my husband yo assemble. Lots of small parts. Color is rich and beautiful.

The desk is part of a three-piece office ensemble made by [Magomed] and we are pleased with all of the pieces and the quality is consistent with the price paid. Since it is a home office, I would not anticipate any problems. We had it assembled and the person doing the work said the instructions were easy to follow. I would buy it again if I ever needed a second desk.

[Rewarded Review] Very sturdy and very pretty

I ordered 2 desks. They are very beautiful strong nice drawers. We like everything about them. They came in a very timely manner and my daughter put them together ( both of them) in less than 5 hours by herself. She said it was easy. We are very happy with them.

Lovely desk and very sturdy, nice hardware, however..the drawers do not line up. Pre- drilled holes are off so that there are noticeable gaps and misalignments on both sides, but one worse than the other. Tight fits such that we couldn’t attempt to “McGiver” it to correct the issue. For this price and the lovely finish, I expected perfection. Misalignment is noticeable. Tried switching placement of the drawers and it made no difference. Wish I could give it all the stars but truthfully somewhat disappointed.

The desk itself is great. Color is wonderful. The only "complain" we have is that instructions are all in pictures, nothing is written. It was challenging to put the railings in the correct way. My husband is extremely handy (thanks to my love of new things and decorating), however it took him about 3 or 4 hours to assemble this desk. My suggestion is to add service from Wayfair to assemble it.

A great desk! Exactly what I was looking for, but I must tell you it takes time to put together. I found it best to carefully read the complete directions, then lay out and account for all the pieces. Don't try to do it all in one day. The directions are well written with several pages having QR codes to explain things step by step. The QR is a great help if you need to make adjustments to fit the drawers properly. Also, love all the room in the back to hide all your cords. All in all it is very well designed. I recommend if you do not have the patience or the time to put the desk together, pay the extra fee to have someone set up for you. Very nice quality! I highly recommend this desk.

I'm not sure how this "executive desk" scored so many 5 star ratings. The quality of this item does not live up to the price tag. The "manufactured wood" description should actually read "laminated particle board". I could have purchased something of equal quality for less money at Office Max. The drawer tracks are not level so the top drawer does not close properly. Also not included in the description is the fact that the unit has plastic feet. Contacted Wayfair to discuss our dissatisfaction for the quality and they referred me to the manufacturer. Beyond replacement drawer tracks, that was the only remedy. Save your money and don't count on Wayfair for customer service.

I like the desk, just the size I need for my new office in our new home. Love the color and the fact that it has 2 "holes" (can't think of the appropriate name) for cord management so that the cords are not all over the place. What I didn't like was the fact that a piece of the desk must have fallen on the wall when he was putting it together and made black marks on the wall but it must have hit hard enough that it cracked the baseboard and a chunk fell out but the worst part of it is that the handy man did not even tell us and when he was done just left. I find that VERY unprofessional!! I would hope that WAYFAIR will pay for the repairs, especially since it is a BRAND NEW home, we've been here only 4 days, BUT I won't count on it.

This is a great piece of furniture. Looks great and functions well. Its heavy duty which surprised me when putting it together I had my doubts. Took a few hrs to put together with the diagram instructions . The only suggestion would be for individual labeled packets for the hardware and quality control for those labeled packets to ensure the bags are not cut funny with the print wrapping around the bag from seam to seam. Bush products have it down for the assembly instructions and labeling. I would suggest that they look at how they do it and assemiate. While I'm seasoned at this process and was able to follow along, I can easily see someone that's not getting frustrated and taking much longer to put together. Overall - Well worth the $ and very happy with the products.

Finished product is very nice-the assembly process would have been simple with improved instructions that I think are very poor. YouTube videos aren’t any better. My desk was missing some necessary screws while containing a lot of unnecessary screws?? Fortunately I had screws in my shop that were easily substituted. This desk could be assembled very quickly with clearer instructions/diagrams. I still recommend this desk now that assembly has been successfully completed and would buy again.

I picked this one after looking into many similar desk. I like the dimensions which fit my space and floor colour very well. My rating for it is not very high for the quality I'm getting from the price I paid. Among the many pieces of furniture at similar size/cost I bought as part of my home reno project, the assembly for this one take most of the effort. I have a few issues with it: extra holes are left on the boards for errors; corners of the boards are pretty sharp; the two draws on one side are not aligned properly. I wished that the two holes the table for the cables/cords should moved back more, such that all cables/cords can be hidden from the toe-board. Right now the space behind is all wasted.

We bought this desk for use in our home office. It arrived in good shape, well-packaged with no damage or missing parts. The assembly went smoothly. We like the fact that it has a finished back so that it can be placed in the middle of the room vs against a wall. It has a good deal of surface space. We have 2 monitors, a keyboard and a small printer on it. As others have noted, the feet are plastic vs metal or wood, so I would deduct a little (maybe a half star) for that detail. We purchased the matching lateral file and bookcase - all in Hansen Cherry color. We previously purchased other Bush office furniture in this color (different style) so we knew the level of quality we were getting, which I rate as very high for this price. I highly recommend this desk and the matching pieces. It’s a good way to outfit a home office with quality pieces at a reasonable price. Note Our first order of this desk was “lost” in transit. Wayfair Customer Service did a great job, as always, in addressing the issue and the replacement desk arrived within a couple of days.

I searched for months for a desk. It was exhausting to say the least. I finally decided to go with this one. I needed a desk with a finished back. It was a project I wanted to do without my husband’s assistance. I found it easy and therapeutic to put it together myself. The desk came quickly. I put the small box of parts together first. I got to the second large box and I was crushed to see the brown desktop. It was no hassle with Wayfair. They immediately placed an order for the right desktop and it arrived less than a week later. I still have the extra drawers because they sent a brand new desk set. I also still have the brown desktop. Talk about over the top service. I LOVE MY DESK! It’s the perfect size! The color is exactly what you see. This is the platinum gray. Stop searching and get this desk! I’m picky... so if I like it, ANYBODY will like it!

I bought this desk in white. My daughter picked it out. She wanted it as a vanity/desk. The directions putting it together were unclear at times in a couple areas, missing some screws, etc. There is a few inches of desk top that hangs over towards the wall. Meaning it is not flush, tight up against the wall. I guess it makes the table top bigger. I just needed that extra few inches to put a chair, so it wasn’t in the walkway. Most of the boards felt of pretty good quality. The legs were plastic, wasn’t sure how sturdy that would be. Once put together it seemed pretty sturdy! I’m happy with the purchase and feel it was a great buy!

The color is perfect! The size is pretty good, too. However, the top of the desk has about a 6 inch overhang off the back so if you put it up against a wall like I did there is going to be about 6 inches between the back of the desk and the wall. I guess it makes it easier to plug/unplug things as needed but you can see the unsightly cords when you look at it from the side. Also, the 2 top drawers don't sit correctly on the tracks so I have to lift them slightly as I pull them out. I tried removing them and reinstalling them and even switched them from one side to the other. It's almost like the holes were drilled just a fraction of an inch too low. For the price, I wish it was better quality.

Not machined fully...

This desk can be built in two different layouts; one with the keyboard part on the left side, and one with it on the right side. Instructions include directions for both orientations, and are very easy to follow. That is until the parts are not machined properly... For some odd reason, the desktops only had the pre-drilled holes for one orientation instead of both, like they were supposed to. This made what took 3 hours to build into 5 hours as I had to measure and attempt (and fail) to create my own guide holes for the missing orientation that I desired.

Very well made and quite attractive. Good value. The fit was better than I'd expected...the drawers work well; the bottom ones are especially nice, tight, and slide like more expensive office furniture. My one suggestion/complaint is that the parts labeled B and C ( the main drawer boxes) which are where the drawer hardware gets attached should have been separately labeled...I made the mistake of NOT watching the link to the video (stupid me) and assembling the two boxes exactly the same, when they must be fitted as a LEFT and a RIGHT side so the top fits. I failed to notice until too late that the written instructions had EACH B and C box assembled separately...I did them SAME for both at the same time. So lost an hour rearranging the hardware right...so AGAIN Wayfair...LABEL the parts B1, B2 or something else...But I really like the desk! It's a cut way above the typical photo finish low-end stuff I've bought in the past. Finally I'm not sure I got all the right number of screws but it could have been my own fault...so I'm hesitant to knock the product here...but I did use a couple of my own screws...no big deal. This desk will take unhandy people like me several hours to put together with a lot of parts...but the directions (except what I've already mentioned) are straightforward enough.
