Beautiful Natural Finish Frame

The bed is a beautiful color and the frame is nicely designed. We have natural color shaker dresser and side tables and it is a perfect match. The directions are not great but if you are careful it easily goes together.

The instructions are almost impossible to understand, and once it's put together, you really can't take it apart. Not a quality product in any way. One of the mosts frustrating delivery experiences I've ever had. It looks nice, and it's solid when you finish it, but otherwise, avoid it like the plague. Not worth the money or the time. If I didn't have to pay for the shipping, I would have returned it before I put it together, which took hours.

Waaaay overpriced. Really poor quality. Worst instructions I have ever seen in my life. Took over 4 hours to build and it still doesn’t feel right. Don’t buy this.

Nice color, assembly not so nice

I like the color of the wood - it is pretty much as pictured. Putting it together was not easy. The instructions are sparse at best. I always put things together but on this one I resorted to ***********. It is ok in how the pieces fit together but not great. The rails on the top and bottom of the headboard piece don't really line up the same or as neatly as I would have hoped. Fortunately, the mattress covers the bottom one so you can't tell they are different. The headboard came slightly damaged but I was able to put that at the bottom as well to hide it. I guess to make the rails fit you have to start tightening other things up and they eventually fit into the predrilled holes. I was convinced the holes were off. Not all holes are predrilled. Good value even with paying to have it put together.

Love the bed, had a small chunk missing off the headboard, but we didn't want to send back for it. Easy to set up and it has been really comfortable.

Matches more with pine Wood

Just a reminder, all the headboard patterns differ from the picture. Keep in mind that it is not much crimson than a lightly stained pine. Was shorter than I thought it would be but I think it’ll still work for the overall look.

This bed is beautiful and very sturdy. It was also pretty easy to assemble with two people and it never creaks or anything like that. The only problem with it is that the little pegs are not that sturdy and one of them snapped during assembly.

Simple design, sturdy, easy to trend up

I love the design of this bed. It's simple and sturdy and the look can be updated with decorative trends. It's also a solid wood which is hard to find. And it's not squeaky either! It did take some time and effort to put together. My father-in-law said it took him a good half a day to do it by himself. I particularly like how you can't see the wood support under the bed very easily.

I wish I could give this a no star. DO NOT BUY. The pegs in the first step either don’t fit, and/or the holes are too deep and the pegs get lost. Nothing fits, it’s very rickety and it amazes me someone thinks it’s worth the price I actually paid.

The tone of the wood is nice--it goes well with other light oak/pine furniture. One downer: the way the holes are drilled, the headboard has a gap one one side where it doesn't quite meet the outer frame of the headboard. If you're looking for precision in the way its built, it's not likely you'll find it.

When this bed arrived, one of the pieces was about 3/4 of an inch too long to fit. I had to go out and buy a saw to cut it down to the right length. Also, the rails along the top and bottom of the headboard do not secure down, despite the given screws. I used manual screwdrivers and a drill with four adults trying and none of us could get it to work. I'm VERY disappointed in this purchase.

When we received the package, upon opening it up the headboard had some slight defects to the particle board. After pouring over the instructions for 20 minutes and not making much Headway we just started trying to build it, it was very very complex and not very intuitive. The worst part was halfway through building at we realize we had been shorted one of the one of the furniture screws so we were unable to use it until we received replacement part. The color isn't quite true to form, it's closer to a lighter wood like a pine or Birch. I wouldn't recommend this bed and I'm pretty sure we won't be using it for very long, the pieces don't fit together well and it's just not a very good looking bed.
