Wanted a flat wool tartan rug and Safavieh had it!

I bought this for our cozy reading/TV room. The room is lined with built-in bookshelves, decorated with Scots-English inspired decor of mixed wool tartan lap blankets and pillows on the sofa and chairs, and this rug is PERFECT. I only buy flat weave rugs for easy cleaning and patterns always, to hide stains. We've used the rug for a couple weeks now; I'm thrilled with it. I buy inexpensive stick-on grippers for corners and at places along the sides for all my rugs, which worked just fine with this rug. It would slide and curl up at corners without those or a gripper rug pad, be aware.

Love love love this rug. I ordered it for my son’s bathroom. It’s pretty thick, the colors are accurate (same as in photos) Also, it seems to grip.

Great rug

We have had this rug for a few years, it has held up well and is only just starting to get some wrinkles from wear where a chair leg gets pushed in and out. It's in the dining room and we have a toddler, so it has seen a fair amount of food and milk spills. Because it's wool, it it super easy to wipe up and hasn't gotten any stains. A solid purchase!

Gorgeous rug goes well in my sons pre-teen room. It is a very flat rug so we have another smaller layered on top for a nice effect. Takes a little time to flatten out after you buy it but it's fine after a couple of days. Colors are beautiful.

Colorful flat weave rug for home office

Really attractive, unique rug that I plan to use in a lake house home office with the following items from Overstock: Corvus Soloway Oversize Bonded Leather Lounge Slipper Chair (in blue); Simple Living Hadley Drop Leaf Table/Desk; Urban Mid Century Modern Tufted Sofabed Polyester Soft Fabric. I wanted the room to be a little masculine but also colorful and useful for additional guests. Hoping the flat weave will stand up to traffic and not show wear and tear more easily than something with pile.

The rug is well-made, has a nice finished edge and really has beautiful. Fall colors for my front porch.

Plaid Wool Rug

Flat weave rugs are my favorite, they are super easy to clean. The colors in the rug are exactly as they look in the listing photos: medium grey, mustard, orange, medium blue and white. I'm using this rug in a living room of a lake house with a camp-style vintage vibe. It would look great in a masculine style room as well to give a pop of color. It look's expensive but the price doesn't reflect that-it's a great deal.

Great rug, Right price

This is my favorite Safavieh rug to date! I've purchased a number of rugs of this brand and this is my absolute favorite! I dig the lodge feel. I like the low profile. Its a good size and really warms up my bedroom. I would buy this rug again.

As far as quality it’s wonderful! Very nice rug. But the rug is not gray at all. It looks very green!

This rug is great quality, I've had it for over 2 years and there is absolutely no wear on it somehow. It did not shed at all for me and I love the colors together.

I was so excited to find a tartan rug for our 'pub' (aka that useless second living room at the front of the house away from everything and this is perfect. The quality is great and it has worn really well and is easy to spot clean when something gets spilled

This rug has a blue grey undertone that goes so well with modern, traditional, transitional, beach/lake. VERY versatile! Wears AWESOME with 3 kids, a dog

Beautiful and unique

Love the pattern, colors, and quality. I wish I would have found it earlier. Might need to initially weigh down the edges, but not for too long.

I dont recommend this rug. Its rough,feels like rope. It sheds alot. If you sit on it you well get it all over your clothes. I have to sweap alot, it gets allover my floor and couch.I was very disappointed.

I love this rug. I have it right in front of my double front doors and it makes quite a statement as you come in. It helps give more of an entryway feel. Cleans up very easily and looks new months later! The edges do want to curl a tiny bit.

This is a nice rug, the colors are retro-modern but it is a pretty stiff, flat texture (stiffer than a typical wool flatweave rug). The other thing to note is there is a seam around the edges that makes it thicker in those areas -- we specifically wanted a flat rug because we had several doors that needed to clear the rug and the doors do get stuck on the edges since they are thicker.

Absolutely love this rug. We use it in a guest bedroom. It looks far more expensive than what we paid. We were concerned it would go too "country" but it has a classic/modern feel to it. I would definitely recommend this rug. i wish they had different plaid options.

I purchased this rug to use in a bedroom under an blue/gray upholstered bed. The quality of the rug was very good and it arrived quickly. The combination of colors in the rug, namely the orange and blue, is very trendy right now, but the plaid pattern and the gray ground color is are classic. So, this rug will be used on my floor for many years. The rug takes a few days to relax once unrolled, so either tack down the edges with an adhesive tape or put something heavy on the edges to avoid potential trips before the edges flatten out. If the orange color seems a bit too prominent in your decor, I'd suggest turning it 90 degrees and it may work for you. Overall, I'm really happy with this rug.

This rug is even better in person. The colors are spot on, in fact it was even more vibrant in person. The weave of the rug is excellent, and really adds dimension to it. It is definitely low pile so I added a thicker rug pad underneath for comfort.
