These duvet covers make my day everyday! The colors are so vibrant and they wear well. I have washed them many, many times and they remain bright.

Cozy and durable, bright pop of color!

I had purchased the sheet set before and thought I could get by with a boring white duvet, but when I saw this matching Marimekko duvet cover I could not pass it up! Comes with two very large pillow cases- so I put two regular pillows in each of those. Washed well, nice and soft, seems durable. The color really is as bright and cheery as in the photos! I love this duvet cover.

Beautiful!!! I just LOVE this one. I bought it in red it looks AWESOME in my bedroom. It inspired me to order a pink, red orange wall flowers to replace my black ones

Very nice Duvet Cover. Love the bright colours and the fact there are ties inside so the duvet does not slip. Marimekko designs are beautiful and very cheerful.

This is one of the prettiest duvet covers I’ve seen and the picture doesn’t do it justice. It feels great on your skin and not hard or scratchy. Holds up well when washing.

best sheets

I have owned Marimekko bedding for over 15 years. My parents have also used Marimekko bedding since I was little. I've had 4 sets and the only reason I have bought 4 was because I wanted a different pattern. They are still in a great condition. They last a really long time. Colors don't fade. I wash my sheets every week and they wash great- come out of the washer/dryer so soft and looking new every time.

I was aiming for a “hot girl summer” type of bed spread and I think I achieved that!! I went with black sheets under the duvet and I love the look. Also looks fabulous with white and even red satin sheets! The colors POP to the max. I love poppies (the flower) and this duvet cover makes me happy. I wish the enclosure at the bottom of the duvet cover was a zipper, though. Instead, it has about 8-10 buttons. I just prefer the zipper myself. I purchased the king size and it fits my bed very well with plenty of duvet on both sides of the bed, so no fighting for blankets. It DOES have the little ties inside, to tie your comforter to the corners of the duvet cover. I love that feature, so your comforter doesn’t shift around in the night and you have to fluff it constantly. 10/10 duvet set, just a beautiful design all around. I know it doesn’t match my headboard but I fell in love with the duvet cover as soon as I saw it. I hope you feel that way about it too!

Disappointed. Calling this duvet cover reversible is misleading. It has the same print on both sides, however the photos make it appear as though there is a black and white striped pattern on the reverse side.

The advertised image was very different from the product received. According to the specifications identified and associated with this particular item, it was clearly identified as reversible with black and white stripes. This was rather surprising once it was delivered. I am disappointed as the initial order was for the reversible set.

Pretty and Upbeat!

My husband & I really enjoy Marimekko! This pretty, blue print is attractive & makes you smile! We divided the duvet cover in half. One piece is stretched over a frame & hangs on the wall behind the bed. The other half is hemmed & drapes across the end of the bed.

We love the classic red flower Merri-Mekko design. Makes us smile just to see it. It would've been helpful to know that it does have little ties in the corners to hold the quilt in place (I spent a good deal of time trying to chase down some clips to hold it in place). It tends to wrinkle easily. Hopefully now that it's on the bed, it won't have much opportunity to do so any more.

Buyer beware! After first wash, the colors bled. I washed in cold water, gentle cycle. So the white is now a bluish tie dye color. So disappointed! Secondly, this is absolutely not reversible, I have no idea why it is described as such.

not a good material. wont recommend.

I was surprised by how stiff and rough the material was, knowing that its from marimekko. the pillow cases are basically un-useable for us... the duvet cover was also very rough but at least we have a bedsheet beneath... still, not a good material. wont recommend.

This Marimekko duvet cover is gorgeous. I got the one in shades of red, the original design colours, which is so beautiful. It brightens up my bedroom wonderfully. The cotton is very soft and the button closure is easy to handle. I also like having the corner ties to fix the duvet in place. The product arrived several days early which was a nice surprise!

Look great, but low quality

The pattern is definitely awesome. It makes my bedroom so pretty and brings good mood when I look at it :)

Lovely colors, very heavy, washes well

Colors are lovely, the material is thick and soft, but there is considerable weight of the duvet cover. In other words, it doesn't make sense to buy an extra light goose down duvet and put this heavy cover on it. Makes it extremely heavy and I can't really move under it during sleeping. However, it definitely brightens up and otherwise neutral room. Washes well, doesn't wrinkle much.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!

The Unikko Red duvet is so bright and beautiful. I absolutely love it! Nice '60's vibe. I ordered the full/queen size. The duvet has a button closure and white stitching. The pillow cases open in the back. Ordering was easy, and the cover arrived fast and in good condition.

Clissic and lovely

Beautiful high thread count fabric, hand screened, classic mid century elegance from the design giants at Marrimekko. Considering fabric is upwards of $** a yard, this is a steal. Ties in the inside corners, of course, hidden button closures. Pillows have back envelope closure with good overlap.

We love it!!

We hesitated a bit because we thought the cover was a bit pricey. But I couldn’t find anything else that was quite so bold and yet simple. And, we have no regrets! The quality is excellent. We watched a YouTube video for the most efficient way to put it on the comforter and that seemed to help. One of the best parts is because it’s so vibrant and colorful we have illuminated the need for all those wretched throw pillows! Highly recommend.

I was encouraged to write this review by the Overstock customer care rep who helped with this return. She said that Overstock has too many items to QC everything, hence reviews like this are important. So here goes: Do not buy this duvet cover! The dye has not been set. I washed it in cold water/ delicate cycle as per instructions. When I pulled it out, the red had run everywhere! So the comforter is now red and pink flowers with splotches of red and pink where the white should be. what's more, I washed my comforter with this new duvet cover and a comforter now has splotches of pink all over it - it's ruined. This duvet cover is a very poor quality item, get something else!
