Defective...cannot use one side.

As you can see in the photo, I will not be able to use one side of this sanding sponge.

Great Pads Great price

These red 3M pads are great. This Is the best price I've seen. Their great for metal but also as finishing in between paint coated etc.

Great Pads for a Great Finish

I've been using these for years to polish springs when repairing antique clocks. Getting hard to find locally. They last a long time when used with mineral spirits and leave a great smooth finish.

Very effective and useful

I use these sanding sponges for the final sanding before I apply a finish. I also use them to gently round over edges. They are very easy and comfortable to hold. They last about as long as regular sandpaper, maybe a bit longer. When they load up I clean them by throwing them on my workbench or vacuuming with a shop vac. Overall I find them very effective and easy to use.

Great sanding

Absolutely fabulous sanding block the grit doesn’t seem to breakdown like with sand paper sands perfectly flat and is great for sanding contours as well two thumbs up.

Short life span

For a relatively expensive item the first sponge I used - coarse on a slightly curved piece of driftwood - deteriorated to useless in less than 10 minutes. So during if I ha e missed something I have looked for instructions to no avail. I will return the sponges I haven't used yet.
