This Bamboo Green is a showpiece in my kitchen

This is an amazing product. The quality is palpable. The cooking is even and the heat is retained longer. The bamboo green is a showpiece in my kitchen. Worth the high price.

Heirloom quality

Another beautiful piece from Le Creuset! The Chambray is so pretty and a true grey/blue tone compared to the much lighter Coastal Blue. The 26cm size is great for cooking smaller meals for two to three/four people compared to the 30cm which I use for four or more people. If you're trying to decide between a shallow casserole and the round casseroles, I'd recommend the shallow casserole as the wide, flat bases make them a more versatile option. I find I use them more regularly for everything from slow cooked casseroles to frying, sautéing and searing. I also find enamelled cast iron cleans up really easily too, so that's a bonus. I look forward to cooking with this gorgeous casserole for years to come!

It needs a better name than "shallow casserole" its so good.

I love this pan. Le Creuset does it again! Very heavy so I have to get my husband to lift it into the oven for me. But that's OK because if it was light, it wouldn't work as well as it does. Great for lamb shanks (they wouldn't fit in my old cookware) and chicken cooks beautifully.

Beautiful and useful

The colour (white) is gorgeous! Looks great on my stove top. Cooking is an absolute breeze and I love how it can go from stove top into the oven. I don’t need the temperate so high on the hobs as this stays hot and even. It cleans up like new with just dish soap and a cloth. I love it!

Worth the time and effort

Wow, one of the best chickens I ever made. The chicken came out so tender. I’m going to try it again. Hopefully it’ll be easier to clean up this time. I may have had the heat a little bit too high on the stove, but worth trying again

I own a standard Le Creuset casserole dish that I have had for years, and I have wanted one of the shallow ones for the longest time. I'm glad that I finally took the plunge and bought one. It's fantastic and so versatile, I use it every day.

5 Stars for a 4.7L Braiser!

Everyone raves about Le Creuset and for good reason. I bought a large Dutch Oven many years ago and it was just as good as I'd heard and so is this Braiser. It's very large, retains heat incredibly well so it's excellent for browning before braising and the lid fits tightly so as to minimize evaporation during braising. I really can't recommend it highly enough,

Obsessed

I have been using this almost every time I cook since we received this braiser. This was an item on our wedding registry and I absolutely love it. It is versatile, cooks everything evenly, and is so beautiful. I truly think the braiser even makes my food taste better. I plan to gift this item to close family and friends for their big milestones.

Can't Go Wrong With Le Creuset

I love Le Creuset and this large braised completes my set. The quality can't be questioned and food cooks evenly. This 5 quart braised is perfect for large families or for preparing meals in n advance and freezing portions.

Baiser

I got this for my husband for his birthday. We have already used it and it was amazing. My only problem was that I could not tell which color blue we already had so the color that came was a deeper blue.

Superbly Exquisite and Beautiful Cookware

Absolutely perfect! I used some discounts earned and splurged on this beautiful, but expensive piece. This is immediately one of my top three favorites in my Le Creuset collection. Though each one is excellent, the function, weight, depth, and superb quality of the Large Braiser in Cerise, is unmatched. I have other brands of similar size, but this one far exceeds the cooking performance of all the others. It is displayed in my kitchen like the prize that it is! Highly Recommended!

Very Useful Pan!

I got the 3.5 quart braiser at a good price, and have found that I have a ton of uses for it. I'm usually cooking for three, and a great many different recipes cook well in this pan. As with all Le Creuset pans, keep the heat fairly low to very low once it is up to temperature. After the meal, let it cool, then clean the pan out by rinsing first and then soak in soapy water for 10 or 20 minutes. After soaking, everything wipes out of it almost without effort. Soaking is always necessary with Le Creuset pans, although many new users don't realize that. I find this 3.5 qt size pan easy to handle and wash, it's not horribly heavy. I'm 75 and can deal with it easily although I'm always careful. Le Creuset pans are so wonderful, I wish I'd bought them decades ago. Now I'm always tempted to buy yet another one of a different shape or size!

Le Creuset going downhill FAST

I ordered a 3.5 QT cerise SIGNATURE braiser with gold knob during the factory to table sale. Item was so poorly packaged that the presentation box was crushed with several holes in it. Since this was for a wedding present it was important that the box not look like I purchased it off of a backlot scrap yard. Le Creuset could not send just a replacement box so I had to ship the entire braiser back. They sent me a TRADITIONAL braiser in its place which has much smaller handles and was not acceptable as an exchange. Now they say they can't replace it since it's out of stock. Not sure why they didn't ship one of the alternate colors they asked me to list when I submitted the RMA request. I guess they didn't want to honor the sale price anymore. I will purchase Staub going forward. My recent experiences with Le Creuset have turned me off from them permanently.

New favourite

Even heating, perfect low temp cooking, and the food browns beautifully, easy to clean, we just have to be careful not to burn ourselves on the handles! Silicone handle covers would be awesome to prevent burns.

Do the most impossible. Change your mom's mind

My mother said I was crazy for getting the braiser pan, that need the crock pot (I already have a cast iron crock pot). Now after a month of texting her photos of every meal made with this bad boy she is now looking to purchase her own. If your looking for something that can make every except large soups and stews (this is when I pull out the crock pot), still help feed a village, look on the table while serving food and even do the impossible by changing an old lady's mind the buy this pan. If you cheap like me just take the pricing of this pan divide it by 30 year to find its true value.

So easy to clean, every thing just comes right off

I purchased this last month and have used it 5 times a week since. I can cook everything in it. Im seriously considering throwing out half of my regular pots and pans.
