Great tool for large skimming area

Works as expected for a Marshalltown tool, Great skim and knockdown trowel, standard pole socket, no headaches.

Its different than the metal one i used to use

Took some getting used to but once i did it worked great

A must have

Great plastering product. Makes for easy work

Keep the cover to protect the squeegee

Used this after a flat trowel to smooth out the underlayment when leveling the subfloor - perfect for a final pass to smooth any trowel marks over a larger area

Not fit for purpose, tried it once and put it back in my tool bag to collect dust

Squeegee

Hard to control pressure on the knockdown works better as a squeegee on my windows

Is stiff but flexible. Handle fits nicely in hand for great control.

Means nothing unless your a plasterer

This tool saved me after water damage from hiring expensive professional. I have never been able to apply mud and make it look good I stumbled onto this I am glad I did and relieved. Best tool for the DIYer.

Let it dry and this knife works perfect

Works perfect. For texture let it dry a bit longer

Novice Necessity

Must have tool for DIYs with little to no experience if you want that level 5 finish. As a 1st timer, I did OK with pan and knife, but OK is not equal to L5. Keep in mind you'll want to choose a blade size that is commensurate to your job size. Good Luck.

Love the tool. It doesn’t leave lines like metal trowels do.

Appears made of good quality, haven't had a chance to use it yet because the weather pushed my project to the spring.

Just watch out for the bolt that connects the part

Drywaller for over 50 years. I was surprised how well it worked. It wasn't what I was looking for.

Not reliable

I’ve used these on two separate jobs, and neither one of the squeegees lasted to the end of the job. I install polyaspartic floor coating, and at the end of the instal during cleaning, xylene ate the first squeegee so much the “sweep”deteriorated and came apart in the middle. The second squeegee had the same result, the only difference was that it was wiped down with acetone, not xylene.

Nice product.

Used for finish drywall on ceiling. Provided smooth finish. Tighten screw on blade did not keep blade in place.
